Rafael Benítez tells Ryan Babel's agent he is free to leave Liverpool Would he be a worthwhile signing (depending on the fee)? I think he would, I know he's got a tendency to run down blind alleys (just like Kalou), but I think he's got a lot of potential (still only 22) and we know he's got a hell of a shot on him, also I'm guessing that he would like to prove Benítez wrong. Obviously there's the argument that if he wasn't good enough for Liverpool then he certainly isn't good enough for Chelsea, but I reckon he could come on leaps and bounds under the right coaching and could go on to be quite a player.

Fair enough.

For me it's a close call between Essien's volley, the power and technique was just awesome and Lampard's chip which was plain audacious. I went with Essien's volley though as it just gets better with each viewing.

F2. I'm off to New Zealand for a few weeks on Wednesday which means I'm going to miss a few of these, so no doubt I'll lose my position at the top. :P

I can't say I'm happy with Webb being in charge. I think he is one of the worst refs in the game, mainly because I reckon he thinks he's the best. Mark my words, he will make a seriously contentious decision in the game and in all probability it will be against us.

Seems we're not the only one's talking about Cech's lack of form: troubled Petr Cech is a shadow of his former self We've got to stick by him as on his day there are none better but I do think the club need to have a look at the competition for his place which currently appears to be non-existent. Hilário is an adequate understudy but would you start him ahead of a fit Cech regardless of form, I don't think I would. I haven't seen Rhys Taylor in action so I couldn't comment on his ability. Also if it's no longer a medical requirement, Cech needs to get rid of that damn hat.

Me too. I thought he was going to have one of those nights where he's more concerned with rolling around on the grass but he pulled his finger out and lead the line well and was integral to our turning the game around. Lampard did well with his two goals but his overall game was well below par.

I can only imagine the tripe he was coming out with.

It was a close call between Ivanovic and Essien (who was immense), but the importance of Ivanovic's goals and his overall defending just pipped it for me so he got my vote.

I've never had any problems with Stuffit, but you could always try The Unarchiver, it looks like it support loads of formats. I found it on this website: Open Source Mac which has got some nice free software on it.
