Glen Johnson
I missed the last three months of the Premiership season, so I'm wondering during those three months did Johnson suddenly become world class? Because for that kind of money he ruddy well better be. F*ck me, I hate the silly season.

Homefront - This game looks the business
I'll still be getting Modern Warfare 2, as Homefront isn't out until 2010 so there's no reason to not get both. Obviously this is dependent upon the reviews they receive.

Chelsea signing Aguero
Demanding £200k a week is taking the p*ss, hopefully he's just chancing his arm.

George Lucas Then vs George Lucas Now
That's a mighty big call there sir. No doubt The Hobbit will be a great film but I don't think it will be better than the LOTR trilogy. And yes the process is called animatronics.

Tevez
The thing with Tevez is he plays as a second striker and his tireless running and willingness to track back is a highly commendable quality, sure he wasn't prolific at Manure, but he did score some important goals and I'm sure he could go on to be a 20+ goals a season player if played regularly.

Homefront - This game looks the business
Saw this last night on Good Game (ABC2 in Australia) during a report from E3, it looks proper tasty. Fingers crossed it plays as well as it looks.

George Lucas Then vs George Lucas Now
Exactly. I thought the picture was pretty self explanatory to be honest.

Tevez
I'd be happy if we signed Tevez, although I would prefer Aguero. Both of them together would be very nice.

Man United accept £80m bid from Madrid for Ronaldo
I don't know how reliable this information is, but it's staggering if true. "Real are expected to offer a structured deal starting at £183,000-a-week, but with a 25 per cent rise every season seeing his pay soar above half a million pounds every week in the final year of his contract." Rob Styles retires
For me one of the worst referees to ever officiate a game. Just need Howard Webb to do one now. One of the most controversial referees to officiate in the Premier League over the past decade, Rob Styles, has decided to end his officiating career early. A resignation letter from Styles is expected to arrive at the FA today, calling time on a 22-year career which began in the Wessex League. Former Premier League referee Graham Poll said he was 'saddened but not surprised' by the decision. Poll, who himself retired from officiating in the Premier League in 2007, told the Daily Mail: "He cared deeply about his refereeing, dedicating himself to serving the game he loves. However, the fact that the majority of the football-watching public will merely shrug their shoulders in indifference at this news or say 'Good' proves the lack of understanding of the modern referee." In recent years, 45-year-old Styles attracted criticism for his decisions in a number of the Premier League's highest profile matches, notably Liverpool's match against Chelsea at the beginning of the 2007-08 season, when he awarded a disputed penalty to Chelsea before showing Michael Essien two yellow cards without sending him off. In the 2008-09 season, Styles awarded Manchester United a penalty against Bolton when Cristiano Ronaldo was challenged fairly by Jlloyd Samuel in the area. Ronaldo and his team-mates did not seem to appeal for a foul before Styles awarded the penalty to the astonishment of Bolton's players. He was roundly criticised for making an incorrect decision in the following days. Styles who is also on Fifa's list of referees, officiated in the 2005 FA Cup final at the Millennium Stadium between Arsenal and Manchester United. Styles Retires Early (Guardian)

Deco wants out
How much do you think we'll get for him? I'm guessing around £3-£4million if we're lucky.

Man United accept £80m bid from Madrid for Ronaldo
Goodbye and good riddance. Here's hoping that some of the money will be going towards paying off the Glazer's debt. We really need to pull our finger out and get any potential signings wrapped up.

Chelsea signing Aguero
Come on Chelsea hurry up and make it so. Aguero is class and him signing for us would send out a massive statement of intent. Lets just hope those b*stards at Citeh don't come in and gazump us again.

Boy Shoots Brother Dead In Video Game Row
Darius Finley was shot once in the chest after the pair struggled with the weapon at their home in Marshall County, northern Mississippi. Marshall County Sheriff Kenny Dickerson said: "The younger brother allegedly got mad because he got beat at some video games and got the gun." He said his brother, De-Andre Finley, initially said he never touched the gun. But after more questioning, the older boy admitted the weapon accidentally went off as the two struggled over it. "That version we can live with because it's consistent with the evidence," Mr Dickerson said. He said the shotgun was too long and heavy for the younger boy to hold it against his chest and pull the trigger. "That's the reason it raised red flags," he added. He said the boys' father was outside mowing the lawn at the time of the incident. A post-mortem is to be carried out, and the shotgun has been removed from the scene for testing. Mr Dickerson added: "Upon arrival we found a nine-year old child laying face down in the bedroom of the home. The shotgun was near where the child was laying, and casing to the opposite side of where the child was laying." Police said it is unlikely the older brother will be charged because he is under 13, and "it appeared to be an accident anyway". Boy Shoots Brother Dead In Video Game Row
