  1. I have no faith in Arsenal and Man U. 4th seems reasonable.
  2. I may be in the minority but there are only two trophies I truly care about. If it's anything but the CL and Prem League trophies, I'm not interested.
  3. I'm happy with this news. Next season will be a transitional one for us so it's a great time to bring in a new manager to get comfortable with the club before they're able to compete. Sarri didn't deserve all the criticism he got here, but it was clearly never going to work out at Chelsea. This benefits both sides.
  4. It could also be a nightmare. Without adding to the club, we're likely finishing outside of the top 4. I don't know about you, but I absolutely hate it when Chelsea are not playing CL football. I know we are slightly spoiled, but I want to go back to playing Champions League football every season.
  5. Chelsea don't owe anyone anything. Eden is still under contract, if they decide they want to hold on to him for one more season they are well within their rights. Same thing applies to the fee they're asking for. They shouldn't settle for less than what they feel is fair just to keep the player happy. I love Hazard, but you signed a contract, you honour it.

I'm not so sure it did. The fit is way too loose, and the V-neck ruins it. I don't mind the design though, but it looks very cheaply made.

Have you actually watched him play regularly though? The kid is phenomenal at finding space and creating chances. He has great pace and is already an elite dribbler. He has plenty of time to iron out the kinks in his game. His potential is very high. Don't just look at the numbers, he's a great talent.
  8. Big no to Zaha. Talented yes, but he doesn't come across as a player with a winning attitude. Sign me up for Richarlison or Jovic though.
  9. You missed the point of my entire post. I'm saying the results don't really matter for me. It was a miracle they finished in the top 4 after failing to win the majority of their league games in the last 2 months of the season. The only reason Sarri hasn't already been sacked is because Spurs, Arsenal, and United have somehow been worse down the stretch. There are other factors at play here which I have already clearly stated. Sometimes you have to look at results with a big asterisk. There are only two trophies that truly matter. The premier League trophy and the champions League trophy. I see some here bringing up the EFL Cup and the Europa League as a measuring stick for his success. Most of the top English teams don't take the league and FA Cup seriously until the later stages if they're still in it, and we have had the easiest possible road to the Europa League finals. Only a little bit of adversity in the semis. It baffles me how 90% of this fanbase wanted him out after the 6-0 defeat to city, yet somehow opinions have changed on him. What happened to change these opinions? It's not like they started playing that much better. The team's around them were that bad which allowed them entry into the top 4.
  10. What I got from that article is he will most likely make a full recovery and be back before the new year. Sounds like a positive to me. There are extreme cases where the recovery period lasts longer and the player never fully heals, but I'm going to be optimistic.
  11. I don't intend to cause any controversy here, but how does raising money in a friendly football match prevent anti-Semitic chants? There are also other religious and racial groups that are subjected to far more discrimination than Jewish people are, why not dedicate this match to racism and discrimination in general instead of just singling out one group?
  12. We are in trouble if Sarri remains with the club beyond this season. I don't care that they finished 3rd. If that's your only reasoning as to why he should stay, then you must not have watched the full season. The competition around us was dreadful. The fact that they finished 3rd after only winning 7 of their final 16 league matches proves how bad the rest of the teams were. This was also one of the lowest goal scoring seasons the club has had since Abramovich bought the team. His refusal to adapt and make necessary changes hurt this team. He kept going back to a losing formula despite the bad results, and it wasn't until he was under pressure by the fans and the press that he finally gave in, and by no coincidence they started playing better football. If our transfer ban gets delayed, I do not trust him making any signings. The two players he brought in and swore by were huge failures. His tactics and mentality are not suited for the Premier League.
  13. I'm not even that concerned about the Europa League Final at this point. We will be without two of our best players to start the season, and in some cases, a ruptured Achilles tendon depending on how serious it is, can have long term hindrances on the player. Leaves a very sour taste in my mouth.
