Euro 2020 (played in 2021)
I'd be okay with a rule where 4 subs are allowed but with only 3 stops. And I'd love if as an added bonus you could only use the 4th sub if it were a u21/homegrown player. As we all know, the schedules won't get any easier from now on with both Uefa & FIFA wanting to have so many games, so it does make sense to have a little more of flexibility. Plus that added condition would encourage managers to give academy players some minutes besides the cups.

Declan Rice to Chelsea?
While I agree with your post overall I'd say that bold part is a bit of a stretch. For all we know besides finishing 6th last season, West Ham went out early of the cups, only managed to finish 16th on the season before and England is yet to win anything, could just as well pull up a Spurs at any moment. And if that same argument is valid, then we already have Mr. Europa League and CL winner who is just as likely to win the Euro. Nevertheless I'd buy him for a good price, anything above the 40-50m range is just nonsense for what he'll be asked to do tho...

Euro 2020 (played in 2021)
I'd say it's way too soon to say it's an easy game for England. Ukraine's gameplan hasn't changed at all, one good counter and they're back at it. Plus England aren't really putting any pressure after the goal, they seem pretty happy with the u-shape passing.

I'd love a stupid competition where players have a sing-off of their national anthems, all of them sound horrible haha

Official Thomas Tuchel *Now Sacked*
Fair enough, a good period of rest will do wonders to everyone, that's also why I'm not too fussed about transfer rumours, just waiting patiently until everything sorts itself. But I really do miss his pressers and overall enthusiasm, always a joy listening to him. National team coaches always have that whole nation pressure so they just don't seem to enjoy their work as much.

I miss this man's smile! Can we just end the Euro and start the season already?

Sweden and Ukraine already providing more entertainment value without being brilliant. Just an open and less nervy game. Plus no Grealish, so that's refreshing.

If England does win it all, I really hope Kane belongs to City by then, just so we can add another player winning a trophy after leaving sorryspurs

If only it was 3-1 up with 10 minutes remaining...

Euro 2020 (played in 2021)
I'd like to root a tiny bit for our English lads but can't just bring myself to like a team with Grealish on it. Btw did something happen between Sancho and Southgate? He was shown warming up before and then out of nowhere Grealish is up...

So... what's Walcott doing these days?

Well, you could say that about the whole game in itself... but maybe yesterday matches raised up the bar too high.

Maybe it's because he always looks exactly like the new Sad Emoji we have here? It does make me want to cheer him on against all adversity.

Croatia's keeper has that same scared look as Kepa so I was expecting a blunder from him, not the Spanish GK, but I loved it haha

Lego was created by a Dane back in the 20s (or was it 30s? Can't recall atm). So we all own the Danish for everything we know about modern architecture, logic, gaming, anything really. In fact I'd love if they built a national stadium just with Legos... That would be awesome.

Erling Haaland
Actually I can see the logic in what axman said, barring Kane and Varane (and Sancho to an extent), the others are all talented yes, but not a certainty by any means and some just had their breakthrough season. It's still up in the air if it's an outlier or a definite step up. Grealish for all the hype missed yet another 1/3 of the season with injury (19/20 being the only recent season in which he didn't). Havertz kinda did as well and is still sort of a "new signing" as we've barely seen what he can do as a definite starter week in week out. What's stopping Gallagher to be as good as Locatelli? The Italian found game time hard to come at Milan, even though he already showed promise, then moved to Sassuolo to improve and did just that. Gallagher may well be the same case. Rice apparently isn't impressing anyone at the Euro (I didn't watch any England games so can't say for certain). I'm fairly confident we'll get a new signing, but it's far from a desperate situation and we don't need to rush any moves just because our rivals are rumoured to do so while the transfer window isn't even open yet. Last summer we did alright so no reason to believe we won't keep it up. It's not like if we had to defend our PL title 😅

I've just now realized... Why the hell is Anthony Taylor refereeing an international match? Is he actually considered a good ref?

If they hadn't had won the last Euro I'd guess they're managed by Ole.
