This match will be a battle, the PL are desperate to keep the ManUtd recovery narrative going and so Chelsea will play 11x15 (probably more when you throw in the VAR crew) just saw Anthony Taylor working the match. The PL is not even hiding the match fixing anymore.

The weekend is a success after Chelsea winning. This was the classic trap game right after the intl break, an away fixture against a hungry side that already showed it can get results. Feel almost ashamed admitting I expected Werner’s late goal to be struck off for some BS technicality. Very exciting match to win because Soton always turn up against us. Really surprised in a good way for RLC and Barkley. Thought RLC was finished after the horrible injury in that friendly a few years ago. He finally looks to be getting back to form. I do not see Barkley starting but he could be a valuable squad player like today. The midfield looked paper thin a few weeks ago but maybe we are alright.

Great win by Chelsea! Lukaku showing quality against dogged defending. Also great to see ManUtd lose without the PL refs carrying them.

Glad to see this deal go through. Saul gives depth along with Kante/Jorginho/Kovacic. If Kante stays injured it will be tough to rely on Jorginho and Kovacic every match. I do not think RLC can help with his horrible luck with injuries. in hindsight keeping Gallagher or Gilmour might have helped but what’s done is done.
