I love Frank Lampard. There’s not that many people who would take charge in the circumstances he has done both times. Imagine he wins the CL, would be the perfect redemption after he didn’t have the chance to win it in 2021

Seizing Russian assets in the UK has not done anything to stop Ukrainians being killed. All it has achieved is make boris look like he was taking a hard stances on the russkies. How is it even legal to take someone’s things because of what country they’re from and who they’re buddies with? I am yet to see the benefit of Chelsea being taken off Roman translated into Ukrainian victory.

Yesterday feels like it might be a turning point for Potter. I would love him to turn this around and prove the doubters (including myself) wrong.

At least we haven’t been beaten 7-0 under Potter yet.

Of course, I suppose what I’m trying to say is I want a long term manager like a Pep or Klopp, rather than just sacking the manager after a bad season.

For what it’s worth, I think Potter is a good manager, I really want him to do well here, but I just feel that he’s not a good fit for us. The main problem I have with sacking him at the minute is that it feeds into this player power nonsense and teaches them yet again that they can just down tools and get the manager sacked, though I don’t think that is the case this time. It seems Potter has a good relationship with the players, which I hope would be ideal long term. The issue is there’s no guarantee that we will see this squad develop into a proper side under Potter, and the short term signs aren’t good. I do believe that we need someone different as manager. While I like Potter, as I said before, I just don’t think he’s a good fit for us.
