I am talking about the present, and Henderson at this point of time, is more consistent than Mount and if Mount was in Liverpool - I seriously doubt Henderson will be benched. It's because Bob Stark told me Mount will start over Henderson. I can make that argument with a player who is more consistent with his good performances over the other. It's not just about goals and assists (because Henderson is not an attacker). It's about overall team play.

You need to put some context in to this though. Yes we scored more goals this season. That includes 0-6 Southampton, 0-4 Burnley, 7-0 Norwich. But then we have games that we failed to score. Everton. Wolves. Then 1-0 victories against 2nd team West Ham and Newcastle that we should have done better. And the 1-1 draws with Brighton, Burnley, a very poor United TWICE and Everton. (City and Pool games purposely left out). Point I'm trying to make is, scoring tons of goals don't really mean nothing if it's not converted in to points. Winning 7-0 is still 3 points. We can lose three games in a row scoring 1 or 2 within them, and have one 8-0 win. Just because we scored more goals this season, doesn't mean we are now more clinical. It feels the same as last season, and it sort of is, if you compare the points this season to last season. Yes we have more points on the board, but not by much.

So when people call me names, that's a-ok but when I do it I'm a spoilt brat. 🤪 Your post doesn't add anything to the conversation and if you want to continue this, go to the Jorginho thread.

I am close to writing them off simply because of our mentality. Liverpool's mentality, heart & character > Chelsea's mentality, heart & character. And that's not even comparing the squads. We must stay focused 100%. We HAVE to take our chances and be more clinical. Silence Liverpool's front 3. And most importantly, which we have been seeing as of late and has been killing us - NO CRUCIAL MISTAKES. Last time we faced them, we weren't doing the latter. Now we are, and Liverpool will kill us if we make any bad error. If we do all of this, then yes we can stand a chance...providing no VAR/ref drama.

Moving thread out of respect... But you can be lucky though. Jorginho didn't play a major part for our CL run, he just did average performances. Did he get MOTM in any of those games? Point is...3rd place? For you to be 3rd place, you at least had to be one of our top players for us that season. Like he was running the sh*t. Let's be real, he wasn't. And it was a slap in the face for example Kante, who worked his socks off defensively. I was talking about the overall season. But you kinda didn't answer my question. Fine, I'll take Kovacic out of the equation. Do you think Jorginho was better last season over Kante, Mount, Mendy, Silva and Rudiger? Jorginho is a likeable guy, I get it. But if we want to challenge City and Liverpool - he is simply not good enough to help us get there. FFS we can't even trust him against teams like Brentford and Arsenal basically ANY team with quick players who can press, as he will be roasted, cooked alive. He is also prone to making terrible errors.

Yeaaah Liverpool aren’t chokers. They may not win the quad but they will certainly win at least another trophy this season. Unless injuries galore, you are in for a big disappointment.
