  1. What I've seen with Arsenal is that they go in streaks. They go on a winning/unbeaten run, then once they lose they go on a losing run. So unless their mentality has changed, they are now going to go on a losing run.
  2. Has the final already happened by the way? The thread title says May 14th 2021!
  3. We basically have to be mistake-free at the back tomorrow. Just can't see that happening unless we park the bus.
  4. Well Boehly is a good man, I've never doubted that. It's just his consortium, with Wyss, Clearlake and Goldstein in it. Looks like Boehly is good friends with Goldstein, and fully trusts this man to elevate us to the next level with SB...even though he's a diehard Spuds fan. But I should have been openminded there, Goldstein is not getting involved with the transfer business, the structure of the club etc...he's just leading the development of SB. And Clearlake/Wyss cannot suck money from the club for at least 10 years so there's that. If Boehly shows his hand this summer, I will have full confidence going forward with him and thank the LORD we do not have a "Glazer" leading the club.
  5. ...you DO know we still make mistakes? We have a couple against Leeds. And if they scored from our mistakes, a goal's a goal. Doesn't matter. ...YIKES. You are actually putting your full neck on the line with this team who are bottlers domestically since 2017.
  6. I'm SO glad Arsenal have been put back in their place! Fecking had it up to HERE with my Arsenal family trying to scare me that they are after us.
  7. EDIT: Ok 1 point because of superior GD. But I'm still going to be pissed if we finish below Arsenal. Also both of our remaining games are at home, our home record has been on the floor.
  8. You're not making sense. Are you saying the refs, the luck and the goals out of nowhere will not happen in this final? No offence but who made you God? Also Kovacic's goal at the Bridge "came out of nowhere" as Liverpool controlled that first half. So don't pretend it's only Liverpool. Every game from now on is a must win actually, especially if Spuds beat Arsenal today. It will be absolutely pathetic to win the FA Cup and drop out of the top 4.
  9. Liverpool failed to score three times all season in all competitions. 2 of those times were from the LC and still went on to win (includes the final). But they will score. They are too dangerous and we look shaky at times at the back. We basically need to score more than one goal to win the FA Cup.
  10. Good win. You can only beat what's ahead of you. Cool. But I still don't trust these players, they are not good enough. The first 15 minutes, when Leeds heads were scrambled we should have scored more than one goal. Anyone can smash Leeds, so I was not really focusing on that yesterday. I was focusing is if we still make mistakes at the back. And we still have a number of times. Still we haven't conceded but we were fortunate that it was 10 men Leeds, so they cannot take advantage of our one or two mistakes. At least in the bear minimum you do not concede to this weak dirty Leeds and they did that, so kudos.
  11. Hmmm. I’m not that convinced with this performance. It’s way better than the past number of games, but I’ve seen a number of chances Leeds could have had. With 10 men. This cannot happen this Saturday.
  12. Well, the defence has let us down the past 4 games. Let’s not get cocky until we are 3-0 up.
