Chelsea v Wrexham, (pre-season), Thurs 25th July 24, 03:00 GMT
So explain to me how trev is 4th choice again?!? Jfc Fofana is awful, and Maresca is overrated. These players “should” be skilled enough to beat wrexham without knowing one another prior to playing. Glad we signed that KDH asshole for the manager who isn’t likely to see another season…

Enzo Maresca - Chelsea "Head Coach" *Official NOW SACKED*
Feels like globally it’s a bit of a dead spot for legit world class managers. Pep, klopp, ancelotti are the top tier realistically. Then there’s a huge group of excellent managers who are either retiring soon, should’ve retired already, have their best days behind them, or reputation precedes them / become hired guns (Jose unfortunately falls in this group along with tuchel, Simone, conte, etc.) Then there’s a whole host of up and coming managers who haven’t truly proven anything over an extended period yet Nagelsmann, arteta, xavi so chels is stuck trying to find the next great manager as we’ve basically tried a LOT of the best managers to no avail. long way to say “fook it, what’s the worst that can happen?” Knowing full well it’s gonna be the same boring tactics and attempts to play possession when our players / our nature is better geared to hitting on the counter

So it's Pochettino...and now officially gone!
So Tuchel didn’t want huge say in transfers… gone potter just sucked… begrudgingly gone poch said he’d want more say in transfers… still gone. and it is going to be very interesting to see the blowback ownership gets when they sell Conor and Trev… should hear about it daily and very loudy every home game. egbali out!!!

Brighton and Hove Albion vs Chelsea (PL) Wed 15th May 24 19:45GMT
Finally got to watch the match this evening. complete horror show of refereeing. Legit don’t understand how they don’t have cameras on all players at all times to be able to discern the lamptey assault. Would love Chelsea to protest that to the FA or whatever they can do. f**k that guy he’s an enemy now more than maybe any other academy failure. gusto is the real deal and could / should push Reece to midfield which would honestly help us so much tactically next year. nico is gonna come good, he just needs to hit the weight room and the buffet all summer and get some muscle so he can transform into a strongman up front. remember how dire Kai, Werner Lukaku was?? got to resign Gallagher, can’t be selling him, he’s true chels and actually has a head to be a captain unlike Reece who has too many of his sisters traits with that brain dead foul anyways, thrilled with the points, and moderately disgusted that I’ve got to be a city fan for the next couple weeks…

Chelsea v Luton (PL) Fri 25th Aug 2023 20:00 GMT
well, given how we played that second half against west ham, seems like we almost need to park the bus against such a dangerous luton team, and just let mudryk run counter attacks all evening. Entirely kidding but otherwise he is similar to Werner, doesn't fit a side who plays with 75% possession trying to breakdown a low block. That said, I think he needs to start, for a bit here at least I'd like to see them move gallagher to 10, even though we know how that experiment normally goes, but him with some combo of sterling/mudryk/madueke and jackson up top. Sanchez Gusto-Silva-Colwill-Chilly Caicedo-Enzo Sterling/madueke - gallagher - mudryk/madueke Jackson

Some people just can’t be pleased eh? jackson looks just fine so far. Most dangerous striker we’ve had since Costa. Why all the vitriol after 80 minutes

Jackson looks very good so far. Needed to finish that one in the first half but after watching last years finishing it’s not that egregious of a miss. That breakaway was a good try too

Robert Sanchez joins Chelsea
You'd have to think that either our sporting directors are utter idiots to pay 20-25m for Sanchez, or that this is all a tactic to get Brighton more (total) money for Caicedo by overpaying on sanchez to offset the sell-on fee that brighton owe to Caicedo's ecuadorian club and they just need to wait a few days before announcing the caicedo deal? No one would pay that much for sanchez unless they are very very bad at this whole transfer thing... The club that gets screwed is the Ecuadorian club, and it seems awfully shady but if an overpay of ~10m on Sanchez allows Brighton to keep 5m more of Caicedo fee, then it probably is even. But you'd hope that both deals are already agreed and the clubs are waiting a couple extra days before finalizing the Caicedo one, to keep up appearances however, it seems a bit foolish to trust the word of Bloom to actually follow through, so hopefully it was all in writing

Where will we finish in the league 23/24 ?
First post here, but I really don’t think we do it this year. Chelsea (assuming Silva isn’t playing) might have the youngest average age team in the PL and I think that most people are overlooking the fact that while young players are exciting and energetic and we probably ah e the right manager to harness those traits, we don’t have players who are experienced going up against the same CBs year after year, knowing the little tricks to get open, etc. I think it’s going to be a struggle, as Pochettino needs time to install the Chelsea way into these young players, and really there isn’t much time to do that AND improve fitness, AND teach new systems. I hope I’m wrong but I think we finish outside of Europe spots. at least we get the club World Cup season after next with auto qualification though!

Canadian checking in
Hi all, I’m from Canada, Alberta to be specific. I’ve been a Chelsea supporter since my grandfather took me on a trip over to see England when I was younger, in 2001. He was over during the war and had wanted to show me around. He was a lifelong arsenal fan but when we got to our hotel, he realized it was impossible to find tickets to the arsenal game that weekend. But to my luck, the doorman had Chelsea season tickets and wasn’t gonna go to the game that Saturday and offered them to us. So off we went to watch derby v. Chelsea and Emmanuel petit score the only goal (I think) in a 1-0 home win. been back a few times since but nothing ever as special as that first visit. And damn was I an annoying kid when all my buddies started jumping on the Chelsea bandwagon in the Roman era and I got to state that I’d actually been a supporter for a few years already haha
