If Poch thinks James and Nkunku could start I'd like to see both in starting eleven but I think that's unlikely and, to be honest understandable.

If Nkunku can't start then I'd give Sterling the start ahead of Mudryk. And I'd start Gusto with James on bench.

Nkunku could likely start but play no more than 45-55 minutes I would guess, so maybe better as a sub.

Reece, as much as we would all love to see it, no way should start.

I didn't realise this until watching the extended highlights of our game vs Forest.

Forest was our first away league win in 3 months apparently... can we make it two in two?

In attack I want to see minimal touches on the ball unless dribbling into dangerous space. That lovely ball from Caicedo was so effective because he passed it first time. Had he take a few touches, that space for James is not there and neither is the disorganised defence leaving Jackson open. Those early passes always leave the opposition two steps behind.

Yes but look stupid when they go wrong and you think if only he had taken a touch.

I'd also like Jackson to release the ball earlier on his runs, I think that is a learnable skill. Jackson actually has a really good touch. I doubt we've seen his best season yet.

Hopefully Nkunku doesn't have another relapse. A lot of the injured players have had relapses ..... I expect there is a good chance Colwill gets some game time.

Playing away is a test of the team's character for sure. Brighton are no mugs, won't be an easy game.

No not an easy game, nor will Bournemouth be.

However they are both teams with nothing to play for and, until an hour before the game, Forest did have something to play for.

Our motivation has to be higher than theirs, we have better players than both of them. So is down to just how much we want it.

United and Newcastle are tired and have injury issues, we have several fresh players back and are a young side. Up to us to show we want it, get the job done and hope Newcastle slip up.

All circumstantial I guess as yeah sometimes a touch or two is needed. I just see our players take too many most of the time, especially when dribbling.

Think this one will be straight forward. We've had Brighton's number all season and now they have nothing to play for.

Petrovic

Chalobah Silva Badiashile Cucurella

Caicedo Gallagher

Madueke Palmer Mudryk

Jackson

When was the last time club won 4 EPL matches in a row ?

Thats possible here but doubtful just because of the away form. Got a bit lucky vs Forest and Brighton are a better outfit at home.

Yeah the common belief before Forest was Forest themselves were our most difficult game of the 3.

I did not say anything before Forest about it but my gut feeling was Brighton would be the biggest ask. They have grown to hate us and their crowd will be up for it.

I think Caicedo is key here. If he dominates as he can we have a good chance.

Surely Gusto starts tomorrow. Whether that means Chalobah is moved to CB, I am not sure but think Gusto starts. Possibly Sterling for Mudryk also.

Madueke Palmer Sterling

Expect to see Reece/Gusto on at some point and Nkunku on for Madueke depnding on which version of Madueke turns up on the day.

I'd like to see Jackson rearrange his brain cells so he can control his feet rather than falling over them, and to make a pass rather than running into a defender every time we are on the break.

There's only one result to play for, fail and 6th place becomes harder.  5th is even possible on goal difference if the results of our nearby rivals fall our way...but that's hoping for a lot.

And which version of Stirling ...I don't think he should start, Stirling is better as a late sub.

I hope they watch videos after the game and highlight these things, just so we have hope it won't keep happening EVERY game.

We've beaten them narrowly a couple of times already this season, they have nothing to play for and only a win is good for us.

Therefore im fully expecting to get battered 3-0.

Im only joking (I think). But I do think they are about as consistent as we are which makes this particularly hard to call. We're probably one of the only clubs in the league they don't like, given our history of taking anything good they have (or at least trying to) so I can imagine their fans will have them ready to spoil our late push.
