Brighton and Hove Albion vs Chelsea (PL) Wed 15th May 24 19:45GMT

I liked Pochettino's presser however he might not clap his hands after this game. We need to play 1000-times better than against Forest. We were so horrible for most of that game. Good thing is Brighton attacks us and isn't a counter attacking side.

I just watched Ange's post match presser and he expressed what Jose and Conte before him expressed. Tottenham is broken on a foundational level. This is something we can't have at Chelsea. Gladly Pochettino knows this (Chelsea is about winning) and has spoken about it all season long.

Anyway we need to face these two games like Chelsea's history demands. Go all out and try to win.

There's only one result to play for, fail and 6th place becomes harder.  5th is even possible on goal difference if the results of our nearby rivals fall our way...but that's hoping for a lot.

I fancy Sheffield Utd to turn over Spurs so two wins might even take us 5th.

How funny would it be if we finished above them?

I fancy Man Utd to take a point or 3 from Newcastle too. Isak and Wilson struggling with fitness.

Come on you blues, another MUST WIN game.

Anything less than 3 points probably means no europa league, I can’t see an injury ravaged Man Utd getting anything more than 1 point against Newcastle.

It would really be nice if we can smash Brighton tonight by 5 or 6 goals, to get abit closer to Newcastle’s goal difference.

Their goal difference is 22, ours is 12.

Over the last month or so I’m feeling a bit more positive than most on here, not that hard I guess, but I have bad feeling about tonight’s match.  Hopefully I’m very wrong.

Caicedo is finishing the season strong add Jackson’s late flurry of form, maybe Madueke, and Mudryk doing the same would be lovely.  On the negative side I have no hope for our defense though.

I'm seriously thinking about about watching the ladies beat spurs ass instead of the Brighton match.

Picking a near certain win over a near certain disappointment? Now why would you do that?

Unfortunately I think we’ll drop points. We’re still conceding way too many goals.

Yeah and is now on Trev to hold together a defence when he has Badiashile on one side and a Gusto wanting to get forward on the other, while Cucu is likely inverting.

Defending against Dunk and Webster might be fun.

I don't think players feel this is a must win game. Sorry.
