Finally got to watch the match this evening.

complete horror show of refereeing. Legit don’t understand how they don’t have cameras on all players at all times to be able to discern the lamptey assault. Would love Chelsea to protest that to the FA or whatever they can do. f**k that guy he’s an enemy now more than maybe any other academy failure.

gusto is the real deal and could / should push Reece to midfield which would honestly help us so much tactically next year.

nico is gonna come good, he just needs to hit the weight room and the buffet all summer and get some muscle so he can transform into a strongman up front. remember how dire Kai, Werner Lukaku was??

got to resign Gallagher, can’t be selling him, he’s true chels and actually has a head to be a captain unlike Reece who has too many of his sisters traits with that brain dead foul

anyways, thrilled with the points, and moderately disgusted that I’ve got to be a city fan for the next couple weeks…

Jacko mixed up a thing or two but still played pretty well. Palmer also should have gone for an assist instead of a shot and also played pretty well.

Jackson didn't play well mate. And you know it. He only  had 13 touches in the first half and 15 in the 2nd. He was awful. He kills so many promising attacks and misses so many chances.

No way would Welbeck ever sign for us. We're the only team the f**ker scores against

Think I heard them say his first home goal this season!

Really hope we protest over Lamptey's elbow on Mudryk.

it was swept under the carpet, i don't know who the co commentator was on the channel i was watching (he was an ex center forward) BUT he saw a replay of the incident (not shown to anyone ) and said "believe me that was deliberate he knew what he was doing)

According to this James gets a four match ban for petulance and Lamptey on Mudryk.

James gets the 4 game ban because it was his second red of the season. While he could have easily seen yellow from a different ref last night, it was poor from him to react like that and always asking for trouble, especially with VAR. He will now miss the first 3 games of next season, as well as the Bournemouth game. I highly doubt it will be overturned. Lamptey may yet get a retrospective ban if they review the footage.

Its a red all day if we are being honest. I screamed from the rooftop when Maguire didn't get one for doing the same against us a few years back. Anything less than a red would have been a mistake. That said, its hard to swallow when Lamptey gets away with his one and previous incidents (Maguires as mentioned) have previously got away.

the pundits saw it from.Loads of angles, as I said earlier, they have decided not to show the viewers any more..same with the Jackson shove to score..we never saw the incident at all, I really don't know why??

I don't thing Gallagher should be captain at all, always on the verge of getting sent off, just like Reece.

PL clubs to vote on scrapping VAR, just present tonight’s game, why wasnt the ref sent to the screen to review Lamptys elbow in Mudryks face, co commentator said it was deliberate

I keep going on about it...but why wouldn't they show us???

Totally agree. It is the inconsistency of decisions that makes things so frustrating.
