Conor Gallagher
I want him back, I want him to see out the last year of his contract, sit in the stands, give two middle fingers up to the absolute vile garbage running our great club. Sack the board, dont want to see those bloated fat yanks near the ground. They dont deserve this club. F**k em.

It would be great if he did... would be fantastic. fingers crossed. Despite a confusing pre season, I still believe.

Chelsea vs Manchester City (PL) Sun 18th August 24 16:30 GMT
All I want is for the players on the pitch to leave it all on the pitch game after game after game. Not sure how well we'll do, but hope us fans and the players all turn up next week and that carries on through the season. Lets hope we turn a corner this week and the return of the starting 11 can get us through the opener. Come on the chels.

Where will we finish in the league 24/25?
Anything above where we finished last season and i'll be happy. below that and I wont be happy and for this to be Sterling's last season with us.

Enzo Maresca - Chelsea "Head Coach" *Official NOW SACKED*
Jackson is going to be our main man up top - cant see anyone else doing it. Given the frustrations with his finishing last season, not sure Guiu is the answer as think you're spot on, he's looked promising but inexperienced. We also somehow have Broja still with us so Maresca is looking at all the options.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall - Decent Squad Player
As one opportunity shuts for one of our own, another opportunity presents itself to KDH. Very best of luck to him, hope he has an incredible season and proves doubters like me wrong, really enjoy it when players do that. And tbh, southgate shackled this england team and it got him so far, the crop of players at his disposal there isnt really a need to dip into the championship, Tony did come from there though... take it easy terraloon...

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall - Decent Squad Player
So, two mid/ lower premiership sides bid for him? Amazing how we picked him up for half of what Leicester wanted. Last year of contract will affect value. I just simply look at it like this: We just replaced an England international with KDH... Roll on the close of the transfer window.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall - Decent Squad Player
If the club dont offer a contract the player believes they should, he can turn ot down, we dont know what they offered. Its that simple. we can speculate but that is all. We will find out whether we miss him in approximately 10 days time and for the rest of the season. Re KDH, if you talk about rival clubs not wanting Gallagher, no one was in for KDH... Villa placed a bid earlier in the summer for CG.. player didnt want to go... an I dont exactly blame him. Its not what he can do up the pitch that worries me, its what he does defensively for us, and there's surely a question mark about that because he was in a side relegated from the Prem. Fingers crossed im eating my words six months from now, but ive got bad vibes about how long Maresca will last and therefore, we've got a player on our books possible future managers may not want and sold one who is more valuable to a squad. time will tell, good luck KDH and Maresca, we sure look like we need it.

Conor Gallagher
All the very best To Connor Gallagher from me. Hope he goes on to win the league in Spain and has an outstanding career away from his home here at Chelsea. Always welcome at the bridge in my eyes playing for whoever. Cheers for caring about our club when so few others appear to Mr Gallagher. All the very best, you will be missed.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall - Decent Squad Player
KDH is a chelsea player, was signed by Maresca gets my support... No issue with it, but as a result Gallagher has to be sold. A proven Premiership performer and England international. KDH has gone up and down with his club and done well at the championship level. But he hasnt just played at the euros in a final-making squad. Thats the difference between the two players, Gallagher will play for England KDH most likely wont. I genuinely want all the players to do well in the blue shirt. KDH is no different, I hope he is capable of replacing Gallaghers work rate, effort and ability because CG leaving us weakens us overall. Our loss is definitely Atletico's gain. Its a terrible decision by the club yet again.

Another Winger! - Noni Madueke
I think Noni is an exciting player. Can be frustrating and there's his desire to snatch the ball for a penalty... but i really enjoy the way he dances past people, just needs to add consistency to his final execution pass or shot. Sort of player who can change a game in the latter stages is how I view him right now. Clearly, Maresca has to ask the owners if he's in their plans.

My prediction for the season is we will finish above Leicester. Well, I hope we do, no offence intended.

Conor Gallagher
Owners come and go, the club has always remained. So what if these clowns sell up and take their dodgy wonga and accountancy with them, I hope it happens sooner rather than later. The club will be sold and remain and rather than us talking about players as assets we could talk about improving the squad because very few signings have done that to date.
-
Conor Gallagher
Yep, it might be right to sell connor now, from their perspective and to save the club from ny possible points deduction, but it really ddidnt have to work this way - I see current events as a cover up for blowing 60 million on Santos and Willian in the past two seasons and neither are at the club. Santos isnt good enough for Chelsea as he's been loand now twice, and we wont see willian for another 12 months or whenver? There is also five managers in two seasons. That's 60 million for two players not at the club plus a probable 20 million for manager's compensation = 80 million down the drain in two seasons on 7 people. half of the amount likely had they had kept Tuchel for a season. Then our best midfielder and quite arguably our most consistent defender (Chalobah) from last season is up on the auction block. I simply see it as two massive gun shot wounds to both legs and weakening a squad to pay for the gambling addiction. Not happy, but this is now Chelsea Football Club so I still love it... But I dont have to love its current owners. I wish Gallagher nothing but the best when he is eventually forced out of the club. Makes me think about JT's words even more about there being another side to things re Mason Mount.
-
Conor Gallagher
Those stats make him out to be an advanced Kante type player. WE'll miss him when he's gone, more so than when mount left. Not sure where Gallaghers energy will come from in the other players. Perhaps they'll step up becasue they have to.
-
Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now
Players and club have resolved this sorry state of affairs in-house - what we now think doesn't matter as it was sorted between them. Hope Enzo turns up the heat and delivers every single game this season. On on we go.
-
Conor Gallagher
Ultimately, if Gallageher is on a low wage, why wouldnt he leave abroad to earn potentially double or triple if he runs down his contract with us and Atletico, not a wealthy club, cant afford what he's asking... I wouldnt have a problem with that as we'd get to see him for a final year, think he'll be better than last? who knows. Perhaps in that year they could figure something out.

Chelsea Shirt 24/25
I'd be smiling ear to ear too... I'd certainly go down a Defender route over a prancing horse, was stuck behind one in traffic on M25, comfort over speed... get a honda civic sport for the misses. We need to bring back this chap as a smiling coach for the players. I'll admit - I miss Kante.

Enzo Maresca - Chelsea "Head Coach" *Official NOW SACKED*
EEEkkk... 1 season and working with limited data. Potter was Data from star trek by comparison then! I just want everyone to stand up and be counted this season. I would love to be surprised by how we play and perform so just going to keep my fingers crossed. Improved performance last night, pre season is hit or miss, AVB won everything and was sacked in October or something... Talking of which, I hope the october curse doesnt hit us again.

Chelsea Shirt 24/25
Footballers need to smile more... jesus everyone is so miserable in marketing stuff.

Chelsea Shirt 24/25
At least it has a high production cost so it means those who made it made a buck and could feed their families or keep a roof over their heads. That production industry is struggling in USA and here. A bit long, didnt need the CGI stuff but if it helps us stay afloat by selling more shirts and less players i'll take it.

Filip Jörgensen
Welcome to the club. Has he been loaned out anywhere yet?

Conor Gallagher
there was no need to sign tosin from a mid table rival. Would I have RLC, Abraham and now England regualr defender Guehi ahead of what we signed. I would actually. Guehi has become an England starter and replaced Harry Maguire. RLC could fill in across a number of positions in midfield, defence, and Abraham wasnt pretty to look at but scored goals for us and offers something different. You have just watched two seasons of decline on the pitch under the new ownership despite spending 1 billion dollars on new players. IMO, the reason for this is that the players weve signed, for a number of reasons haven't settled in the UK or Premier League yet, been injured or just not found form. That could all change again with our fifth manager in two seasons but the general flow has been decline rather than regeneration. So no I dont share your view selling Chalobah is a great move in the grand scheme of things but It'll probably happen, along with Gallagher to balance the books... So self imposed off field spending has left us here. I find this frustrating as a fan.

BlueCo buy Chelsea FC
Anyone on here working in the city care to explain how the club's owners financial prediction model before they bought the club will have changed over the last two years? My understanding that financial models made in offices ahead of a purchase rarely come to fruition... even when variables are taken into account. What can we expect over the next 18 months without CL revenue or a successful team? It has to all work this season, it really does or it looks bleak... Im going to cling to any little ray of sunshine on the pitch.

Think this might be the way we're going to go for several seasons until the kids grow up into footballers and either win something, which improves sell-on value, or just sell them at more than they were bought. It's a bit depressing thinking about it tbh. If he goes then Atletico are probably getting a midfielder who will improve them, he's a Simeone type player for sure, probably smash LaLiga to pieces. Atletico's portential gain is definitely a loss to us.
