  1. Wasnt there a theory about GK jersys a while back... Odd shades/ colours have a different effect on strikers or something about being in the eyeline. Give me more GK jersys from the 1994 world cup. Reckon Kepa would have loved the Campos lollipop one. I did own the USA tony Monola one. https://www.nssmag.com/en/sports/24171/usa-94-goalkeeper
  2. Not sure what he'd bring to the midfield except more injuries or he'll recover his best form as seen when with us. Always time for Mason Mount, Good player but think injuries have wrecked him.
  3. Caps off a terrible week for him. There are many cases of Latin american players simply not settling here. I really hoped he would have both feet under the table by now. Lord only knows what the club will do, but Fernandez is going to have to fight for his place this season. Cant imagine Enzo snr is too happy his pre-season given the headlines. very distracting for everyone. Pressing matters of fantasy football. 've mostly picked chelsea and ex chelsea players for my fantasy side. interestingly, Macus Betteneli managed to end last season on -1 point. To the future.
  4. Im slowly thinking the guy is an absolute basket case and Benfica robbed us... Llanelli, wasnt there a poster from Llangenech? couple of miles from llanelli, wonder if he could go to the magistrates to get a few snaps of thick as mince fernandez.
  5. the man who finally kills John wick...
  6. The end game is simple: 1) The club will either move Enzo on, or he will remain a CFC player. Its the clubs decision and any it takes should be backed by the fan base. 2) I think Fifa have a right to stick its nose in (bringing the game into disrepute) and any player singing those disgusting chants should face international bans. Fans and clubs across europe are sanctioned for similar chants and behaviour. Its just better accepted as to what is derogatory or racist in Europe. 3) It will follow him throughout his career as it would any regular person who is disciplined for misconduct as you have to declare to companies criminal records or disciplinary proceedings against you. Ball is in the clubs court to get right.
  7. To be honest, any chant calling Neville a bit*h is fine by me. By the way, does anyone else think the high-pitched squealing and shouting in the BBC studio was a female pundit? I did, turns out Gary Neville is castrated and sings Soprano in the Manchester choir, as demonstrated here.
  8. Mentioned you in another thread to another poster chap who it was addressed to. see below. Peace out. Im sorry, i dont share the view on forfana posting it being an idiot. Far from it. I think he needs to be applauded, good on him imho - given the levesl of racist abuse his post received he deserves fan support in its entirety and it kind of frames the wider issues football actually has to contend with and that starts with us fans too being supportive and probably less tribal, so with that, I apologise to Gol for what I called him yesterday. I do wholeheartedly support your view on clubs taking a far more proactive approach to handling social media. That will come with education which to my understanding kids are being given in schools... Companies do provide this kind of resilience/ contingency training/ planning. It's now an internal matter for the manager and board to go through and most importantly, the players to work through before the season starts. Wish them all good luck in finding mutual ground and the club draws this sorry saga to a close in a suitable manner that resolves all the issues.

  10. How about to London bridge falling down? Gary Neville is a C**t is a C**nt Gary Neville is a C**t is a C**nt And Cucurella hates him... Thoughts?
  11. Not offended, But I dont want to give this behviour a pass and hopefully the club wont either. I think it is really sad to defend what to most people is racist and discriminatory and you clearly dont think there is something wrong with it because you are defending his behaviour. And if those players dont care about skin colour, why would they sing a chant about it? Im sorry, but your logic as warped as Argentinian society if you think its acceptable because of "cultural difference". what was said has insulted the French FA who are trying to set a standard in what is acceptable or not. Clearly to the French, what was sung isnt acceptable, nor to Forfana who has called it out. You dont think the chant is wrong. I do and thats why I said what I did before to you. Dont like folk justifying racism.
  12. Dumb is the right word... its highly offensive to a lot of people who play football. It's upset his team mates, im sure it'll all pass as well, but again, the club have to get this right internally. Its the clubs decision, also, we're not living under Roman anymore so the idiocy of the likes of Kennedy who was effectively banished and killed his career, is going to be worked out by another group. Ive said my tuppence, the chant is highly offensive to a large number of folk across world football, If you want to defend it, carry on but forgive me for thinking you're a massive c u next tuesday and this will be the last time i ever interact with you.
  13. I bet you call the Falklands Las malvinas... Doesnt matter what was said or where, what was said was broadcast around the world and into this country, hence why CFC has acted quickly. What you are describing to me is a highly racist society as its ok to call people out by their colour or sexual orientation... - If racism comes from communities as FIFA and governing bodies believe, then its fair comment to say the chants and fans come from racist communities. Rodri's comments are not comparable. Its his personal view on a political matter. Enzo's comments are on race & sexuality. He's done this to himself knowing that the chants are not acceptable and I doubt its the first time these have been sung. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice, shame on you sort of thing.
  14. There has got to be a cucu chant we can create that insults Gary Nevil. There just has to be one...
  15. Just going to try and walk through this. His coments and the chants are enough for him to have his social media channels shut down. They operate pretty strict inclusivity and anti-hate directives. It is against the law to use this type of terminology as it is discriminatory and goes against race-hate laws and the equlities act. He'd be arrested on the streets for the chanting. A player from our own dressing room has called him out and been subjected to a torrent of racist abuse. I would assume he's simply sticking up for the other players in the squad who will rightly be mortified that a team mate can habour (regardless of the context of celebration) racist/ sexist, mysoginistic/ homophobic views or air them. Enzo might be sorry, but he broadcast his own downfall here so I really dont have much sympathy for the player whatsoever. The club have some tough decisions to make and given that there appears to be a gulf in what is acceptable in the AFA, and the EPL/CFC, there is some ground for concessionary acts by the club to the player... but its really down to the squad imo on whether they want to play with a guy like Fernandez and accept his contrition and a massive change of behaviour on Enzo's part.
  16. I banged my head on a desk repeatedly reading this about Enzo. It's a terrible look for the club to navigate, what was said is truly awful. It is and will be a minefield for the club to navigate and or integrate Enzo back into Cobham given the diverse nationalities within the squad. If us fans sang stuff like that there would be police investigations and lifetime bans from the ground as we have seen before. Honestly, no idea how this should be handled, Its depressing as its a sideshow now for the media to have another go at the club, oppo fans will target him and us and opposing players will want to kick him off the park. The club need to get this right.
  17. No idea why, but im totally invested in the new season already im looking forward to it.
  18. Dont get me wrong, despite his club colours, Saka is quality and he has put in brilliant perfromances for the three lions. But, there's a difference in their games England can certainly utilise. My current bias and his form makes Palmer look fresher and hes one of those direct players that process the game a little faster imho.. Saka wanted to do a little too much and Palmer donest think it through. England should be producing performances like spain, that's my gripe with southgate, and his refusal to take/ pick other left backs.
  19. TBH, thought he was a really odd signing. Didnt think he was needed - however, I hope Maresca finds a way to integrate him into his set up as he's up to the job as his spanish performances have shown. Well done him, lets hope he brings the form back with him from Germany as its good for the club. Definitely needs to up his game in our club colours. He has been underwhelming but then so have been many others. Im guessing Maresca will try and get Sterling playing like Striling at City, Palmer, a few others he knows... We really need to see an improvement and get back to top 4, then asses the squad and see what is available in the club's youth ranks or elsewhere and push on to get in a position to title challeng when Pep leaves. Liverpool will be a joke this seaosn and im looking forward to the dippers calling up 606 balling their eyes out. If our season goes wrong then at least I have the scallies tears to bath in, and probably tottenham fans too.
  20. Cant wait to see Palmer back in our blue. Think this is the season he becomes an england regular ahead of Saka. Absolute baller to do what he did last night in a final. Captain of my fantasy team this season. Harland who?
  21. Best left back in tournament... so say UEFA. Got to stick it to Gary Nevil. bar the result what isnt to love about that. Shakey start to life with us and yes, we know he does have limitations, but we do alright with Spanish full backs... Happy to have him about the club to be honest given the flex and change of the managers the past two years, think he's needed. I prefer Chilwell but he needs to stay fit... think Cucu will actually grow into the CFC set up this season. He's also now a proven winner at the top level.
  22. The big short and Margin call are movies you'd probably love becuase they bet against the banks. Really good movies worth watching tbf...
  23. When the ball hits the back of the net like a fu**ing rocket its Vialli.... One of my favs... Loved that side.
  24. France were dire, much like watching england in this tournament, where the job is to stop other teams from playing, Spain play attacking inventive football and are in the final on merit. If we get past teh dutch, they'll murder England like they did Germany, France. Thought Cucrella looked shakey last night but hes had a good tournament tbf. think we'll see quite a bit of him this year under Maresca.
