Ive watched a 105 million pound player look out of his depth for 3 years. I dont relate to most of the signings we've brought in. Neto ran his socks off today but... cant shooot or head a ball and is out of his depth in blue... Mudryk didnt want to play football for us and got banned, felix lasted 6 moths, Noni is a grossly selfish player, he doesnt care what club he plays for so long as its all about him. If George isnt good enough, I can point the finger at nearly an entire first team not worthy of wearing the blue.

Give George the minutes Sancho has had, he'll be better than him... Six months development playing regularly. More about his game than Mudryk, Sancho, Nkunku, and probably doesnt have teh Noni attitude. Hell be off in the summer so another space free for him.

Im not adverse to singing talent. All clubs do it at all levels. However, The scattergun approach to transfers leaves me cold. Its put us in debt, we have two Latin players arriving this summer? who is departing to facilitate their arrival into the squad. Does Maresca have a say over who comes or goes? This signing cannot be a Maresca hire because he wont be here when the guy turns up. It's a scout signing? who knows. It is a signing to stop rivals getting him? no idea we've done it again. Signed another player who isnt going to play for us... It simply makes no sense to make a move for him. It makes little sense to sign a player for 18 months time, and we have players all over the place who are going to be back in Cobham for Pre season... and we'll probably have to force more players out of the club this summer to pay for it. We're struggling to get rid of players on our books.

Im not advocating he should be brought back or we sign him... My preference would have been to keep him and not bothered singing 150 million in replacement talent that isnt a drugs offender or the current dross we have on the wings. I think with the CHO metrics, we kind of need to look at what else he contributes to the forest side... My mates a regular up at the city ground, say he puts in a shift up and down the park defensively and chasing.
