just to get this all into perspective, my post was only ever meant as a wind up and to see how many of you would bite. I never expected you to lose, i hopes you may do, but never expected it. The way i see it at the moment is this; 1. we beat you last week, so giving a bit out about it should be fair game, even if you have your excuses ready. 2. we were at the time only 2 points behind and it was a chance to see if you were getting jittery at all. I have absoltely no confidence that we can win the title, as i do not believe that United will drop enough points for us to catch them. They will drop points but not that many. I do however beleive that there are is a very good chance of us catching you lot and although this is optimistic, it is still a firm belief. On the other hand i also believe that you can catch United, which may sound contradictory but i think that is how open the title race is at the moment. My predictions for the run in are; either United win the league and we finish second, or You lot win the league and we finish third. Neither are worth shouting from the rooftops about, but both would mean that the final run in is worth watching. As for your post about seeing what i really am, and going on about our history, i hope this post tries to expell that a little and i dont mean to go on about our history and wasnt aware that i had, although it is something i am immensely proud of.

your excuses are all well and good, and i do take our victory with a pinch of salt as your defense was out, but i take heart from the fact that you did f**k all offensively against us, and i dont rememeber you missing many of your attacking threats apart from flukey joe cole. Our big test are coming up soon, with the bluesh*te coming on the weekend and united soon after, but thats got nowt to do with you being bullish after beating a couple of poor lower division sides.

you have to remember that you lot coming to anfield is one of the big games though and they will always have a good atmosphere, its the early kick offs against bolton or portsmouth etc where we struggle. Also, Bonnetti, very good. I see what you did there.

I was going to post on here a week or so ago but never got around to it, regarding your opinions on an initiative being spun out at our place. Ours is named Reclaim the Kop 'RTK' and is of a similar nature, but the fact that our games are sold out earlier than yours means it is different essentially. Really the idea is to educate the daytripper fan into what our history includes from a fans point of view and what has made Anfield so special over the previous 100 years and what is required of them to ensure that the sh*tty Soccer AM sh*te doesnt bog the place down and the atmosphere returns to the place, rather than just for the big games and the European nights. I was going to ask your opinion on that, and whether you had heard about it yourselves, but the fact that you have a similar scheme yourselves means that it is obviously something that is going on more generally than i had realised. i think they are both good ideas although the way ours is structured has caused some real divides as it could be seen to be against the out of town support and can be a little condescending, however i think this is unfortunate because the message is a good one.

United would have got 5? We should have got 5 with Riise's early miss, his shot off the bar and crouch's follow up, another 2 good chances for Kuyt. The injury to Alonso meant we only really played for 30 mins in the first half as we were playing with 10 men for about 10 mins and lost all our rythm until the second half because of it. Second half you had a go at us for the first 10 mins and caused us absolutely no problems, thats not just because you were sh*t you know. Only 3 teams have scored against us at home in the league, they didnt all play sh*t, we can actually defend. As for lumping the ball up long to crouch, dont think we did it an unhealthy amount of times. Thought we played some good football for the most part. Certainly fewer long balls than you lot tried, although i'm not sure if it counts as a long ball if it goes nowhere near any of your players.

No you didnt. You spent 90 mins smacking the ball up to Crouch knowing that we had 3 defenders out of postition and not one defender over 6 foot. You had every right to do this by the way, and yes, you did it well. you pay too much attention to your manager when he whinges. and if my auntie had bollocks she'd be my uncle. He has had an excellent season from the little i have seen, and what i have read.
