Chelsea v Atletico - (CL SF 2nd Leg) 30/04/14 KO 19:45 BST
With the suspensions the injuries and the walking wounded we really wern't too far from a CL final, it's easy to look at the team and say who should and shouln't have started but the fact is only the manager can judge the fitness of his squad and I'm sure fitness issues reflected massively on the starting eleven. Proud that again we are the last English club to be knocked out of the CL and looking forward to next seasons competition. I can't support Atletico purely out of respect for Carlo.

I think if we'd played any other way in Madrid, we'd need about four goals round about now. Mourinho has a half time talk and attacking options on the bench, playing a not quite fit Hazard was always risky and he was a bit slack defensively, that shouldn't have happened and I can see an Eto'o Oscar double substitution on around 65 minutes with Ash off and Dave to LB and Eden or Torres making way or some other little trick Jose has up his sleeve

I wonder if Ash has kept his LB place and Azpi his RB and we are going to see Ivan, JT and Cahill as three in the middle of them? doubt it but we might well do if we go ahead.

Seems to be all about wanting his fittest players out there and not risking anyone other than Hazard who is struggling a bit for fitness.

MOTM vs Liverpool (A) (PL)
Still difficult after watching it again, Ba was excellent, I have to say that a second look made me feel for the bloke and so glad he got the first goal, he had so much to do every time the ball came near him and so much attention he was totally knackered when he came off...his workrate and his goal make him a real candidate for me. I think I have to go with Azpi though as he just gets better and better, I like him more on the right and still like to see Ash on the other side, we'll see if Ash can keep up decent performances now with JT out and Ivan likely to be in the center.

Rodgers has only had one season in charge of a team that had anything like a squad to challenge for trophies...Wenger has forgotten the last trophy he won, what's his excuse?

We need a kick in the balls!
I much prefer losing a game here and there against teams who have fought hard and possibly surprised us with a gritty performance (or a jammy referees decision) than lose to a direct rival after planning the tactics meticulously and still being second best. If I could change our first home defeat from an embarrassing loss to Sunderland or City or Liverpool coming and beating us in our own back yard I know which I'd take. We have no right to win every game, this season is Joses first back and he is drilling these players into the winning machine he knows he can make them, there will be mistakes along the way and lapses in concentration, I applaud the fact that those lapses haven't been common in games against our main rivals. How anyone can complain about this season whatever the outcome amazes me.

Really mate, get your head out of the sand for a minute...the title run in is far from settled and if Puma doubled the deal with you lot Wenger would only spend about twenty seven quid of it after his splashing out this season...a couple of twelve year old french boys will come in and be hailed as the youngsters that will take you back to the top.

You make so many assumptions that have very little basis in fact, Liverpool will strengthen regardless weather they hang on and win the title or not, they will have funds and be a CL team which will help attract players and help them with the fight to keep the best one they have now. They don't worry me and I doubt they'll bother the City fans but you and the UTD fans will be scrapping with them for sure. Edit: I don't think they "choked" they were outclassed tactically by a far superior manager with a superior team in about seven positions on the day.

Liverpool v Chelsea (PL) 27/04/14 KO 14:05 BST
It really isn't true, you're lot will end behind UTD next season and struggle to attain the dizzy heights of fourth place, I told you months ago the scouse threat was more a worry than your lot when you were sitting top and it likely will be next year as well.

You really should cut back on those hallucinogenic substances.

I don't think Jose showed why Arsenal are gonna be doing anything...unless you're talking about showing how they can be hammered by six goals. Arsenal have showed they will likely stick with Wenger, buy one expensive player here and there to appease the fans and carry on racing the likes of Spurs, Everton and Southampton for the fourth place that seems to keep Wenger in a Job, next season Chelsea City and UTD will improve again and that will leave Liverpool among the teams making fourth place more difficult for you.

Liverpool v Chelsea (PL) 27/04/14 KO 14:05 BST
I did think they would get a penalty late on when a few corners went their way that really should have been goal kicks, I particularly remember the incident when Suarez fell to the ground as Ivan stood about a foot off him and got the foul when he misplaced his pass, made me expect more crucial decisions would be going their way...thankfully not.

Liverpool v Chelsea (PL) 27/04/14 KO 14:05 BST
I know what the problem is, what I don't understand are the people who were saying if we won it after those dropped points we wouldn't have deserved it...If it's not to be I will sit back and feel we deserved it because (and as Jose says) we beat the Champions home and away. Superb record against the top teams and if we don't win it shall we say the team who did didn't deserve it because the team that lost to Palace and Sunderland beat them home and away?

Really good disciplined performance from everyone today, I'm struggling to pick one player out, I might have to see it again when my nerves are calmer to make a choice.

Liverpool v Chelsea (PL) 27/04/14 KO 14:05 BST
Anyone still think because of our dropped points to some so called "lesser teams" we don't deserve the Title? I'd say our points tally against the tops sides shows us as most deserving of the bunch. Well done again Jose, another masterclass.
