Liverpool v Chelsea (PL) 27/04/14 KO 14:05 BST
The only surprise to me if this is correct is Luiz isn't on the bench, Cech, Hazard, Ramires, JT I'd say definately out, Willian likely out, Just hope if it's true it's a rest for Luiz and not an injury in training. Torres again I'd have expected on the bench.

Liverpool v Chelsea (PL) 27/04/14 KO 14:05 BST
I think a howler might be the wrong word Joey, he came on rusty and made a save where we all think and expect Cech would have held the ball, he could have done better by knocking it away to the side if he felt he couldn't catch it but that didn't happen, after that he might have looked a bit nervy and that's understandable but apart from some dodgy kicking, I don't think he done too bad and certainly sharpened up nicely for the next game, best back up we've had since Carlo that's for sure.

Atletico v Chelsea - (CL SF 1st Leg) 22/04/14 KO 19:45 BST
I don't think there are any "neutrals" when it comes to Chelsea...anyone who watches our games, Media included is either a fan or a fan of the opposition for the day. f**k em all I say.

MOTM vs Atletico Madrid (A) (CL)
Mikel for me not only for coming in and carrying out his instructions to the letter but because he, like Ash haven't had much game time and are unsure about there futures at the Club but put in top quality performances on a big big night. Cahill and Terry every bit as impressive but that's par for the course.

Great to see Shwarzer abck to the solid back up he has looked every time he's been between the sticks for us bar the sunderland rusty mistake, Mikel looks to have earned a start at Anfield and Cahill Terry again imperious. No bad performances and even Torres although could have held the ball up better at least looked interested. Ash stepped back in comfortably which frees up Ivan for a CB position if JTs injury is worse than it looked. I'm ecstatic with that result with the available players and had my fiver on the nil nil as well.

Not read through the posts yet but I really hope nobody is slagging off Mikel after that, perfect plan from Jose and well executed by the team, Eto'o to start the home leg where we'll see more of the ball. Good to be in it with a home win in a CL semi the ticket to a CL final.

Atletico v Chelsea - (CL SF 1st Leg) 22/04/14 KO 19:45 BST
Looks like with Hazard and Eto'o not fit Jose is hoping to keep things tight and not let the game get away with a view to doing the business at the bridge, with the players available, and the strength of the opposition...who can blame him?

Losing..
Strange how people say we don't deserve to win the title because we have lost to a few of the "lesser teams", how about if we had a league that consisted of results just between the top six or eight? we'd be top of that and fully deserved of the title, I'm pretty happy with our points tally against the teams that people believe deserve it more than we do that's for sure.

Liverpool v Chelsea (PL) 27/04/14 KO 14:05 BST
I never thought we'd win it this season but in with any chance, no matter how unlikely, I want us to drag it on as long as possible, I wouldn't rule out Palace extending their unbelievable run and nobody can rule out us going up to Anfield and quietening them down with a proper performance, City have two more games to play which leaves two more possible Banana skins. I don't expect it but I won't be giving up on it either.

Losing..
I don't see a problem with highlighting the referees decisions if they contribute to the result, The foul on Ramires should have been a penalty to us and a card or even a sending off for them, the Ramires arm across the face wouldn't have happened had the referee punished the offence and the penalty for them was never a penalty... It doesn't matter if people feel we played badly (attempts on goal would argue that a little bit) the result was a loss of 3 points because of two awful decisions, had Norwich fouled Sterling today to stop one of his goals and it gone unpunished and Norwich been gifted a penalty by a linesman whos view was anything but good, we would still be in with a decent shout. these games are not easy and one decision can be enough, win some and lose some obviously but it's supposed to balance itself out over a season...perhaps for us it has but when the opposition seem to collect a lot of calls in their favour without much sign of it balancing out it does make it more of a talking point.

Honest, honest opinions now.....
I have to say the way Ash has been put out in the cold has been niggling me for a while, I can see why Jose has Ivan in the team...as you say his heading ability and sometimes a decent shot but his crossing is woeful and I still feel he's a better CB than RB. The fact that Azpi has faired so well at LB even though on occasions his right footedness looks like it could cost us only makes me wonder just how good he could be in his favoured position, are we missing out on the best of him by using him on the left? I still think Ash has got enough about him to be as good as Azpi on the left but highly doubt Ivan is as good as he would be on the right. I don't know if there has been any falling out with Ash and Jose but for him to be as good as he has been for us and not warrant a few starts that would allow our arguably best player of the season to show us wht he can do in the position he is most comfortable in is for me astonishing and more so when you think about the amount of games JT is playing at his age when we have a perfectly good CB scuffing crosses in from the right wing. I certainly don'rt think I know anyting the manager doesn't but I would love to know the reasoning behind his thoughts on this.

We so so do deserve to win it, Swap our three main strikers with anyone else in the top six and they'd be bottom half while we'd be a few points clear. We've done exceptionally well to still be in with a shout and be last four in the CL and surpassed my expectations for the season by quite a way.

Chelsea v Sunderland (PL) 19/04/14 KO 17:30 GMT
I haven't read through the posts so might be repeating others but today wasn't easy with Sunderland up for it off the back of their last performance and us with one eye on the CL and Anfield games... It was a shame Cech after talking us up all week was absent and Shwarzer looked a bit rusty (rightly so) I'm certain Petr would have held the shot that led to the first goal and held a few things that Shwarzer chose to punch, the loss of Hazard is hurting us as you'd expect as the opposition don't need to double up on anyone hence leaving space for others. I would have expected Shurrle to start with Eden out but it wasn't the case and I'd have brought Frank on for Rami (who is starting to worry me of late) but the team we had out there were well good enough as they showed. The Penalty was never a penalty for me and without any sour grapes I thought we should have had one ourselves for the push on Ramires, win some and lose some I suppose and as I've been saying, just to be in the mix is great for Joses first season back, next season when we have a top striker and Jose knows what players he has faith in, I'm sure we'll be far far better. What gutted me on top of the result was the obvious pleasure that horrible little dick Redknap got from this result, his replays of the non penalty and his dismissal of Joses words stunk of not only someone with the Scousers at heart but someone who has not forgotten being made to look like a naughty kid last time he questioned Jose about not playing Mata. Be nice to do the red scum even if it means City getting back in. Edit: And on the home record...I'm pretty pleased it went to a team I don't hate, to a team who's fans wont be texting me about it and a team led by a decentish Manager.

New phone advice please
That is another good thing, it seems other networks will let you change tariffs...as long as it's upwards, I soon got used to the size of the S3 and prefer it now, I use one of the cases that replace the battery cover and have a skinny front that looks all like part of the phone, keeps them from getting over bulky, I'm sure the mini version is godd too although I've never had one, I did put a screen on Lozs for him but can't remember if it was a s3 mini or an ace, it seemed like it done all the same things with a quick look.

If you were a Virgin TV customer you could get the Galaxy S3 mini with unlimited Calls text and 2gb Data for £21 a month, the best thing about that is you also get free insurance next day replacement on the phone, sounds like a good deal if you were going to commit to 24 months. If you're not a Virgin customer maybe you know someone who is that would let you pay through them to get the savings. Other than that I think what you said about the £10 sim and buying the phone outright looks your best bet. I just realised you obviously don't need the extra minutes as for £2 more on virgin sim only you can have another thousand minutes...if you don't make too many calls then it looks to me like you found the best deal to suit you. Good luck with it.

New phone advice please
On a side not BQ, if your phone is still OK you should get onto Vodafone for the unlock code, they charge for it and it takes about a month to come but that way if you need your present Phone as a back up or whatever it will work on any network.

New phone advice please
As DKW says the good thing with Sim only is you don't get tied in, the other good thing is you get a lot more minutes and data, for instance Virgin (which I will go on next) do a sim only deal for £15 month rolling contract and you get unlimited calls, Texts and Data...It works on the same EE, T-mobile Orange signal and it isn't like the old days where the bigger network operators ar prioritised, it will get service anywhere that they do. So thats £360 over two years plus £130 for the phone Vs £528 for the contract phone with very little calls text data in comparison...check out virgin as there is probably a cheaper sim only with more than you need that could make it even more worth while. Edit: Just saw your post above and the S4 is exactly the same size as the S3...the large size put me off before I had one but is why I like it more than the S2, I don't do anything on the S3 I didn't do on the S2 but at least now I can see it properly .

New phone advice please
I like all the galaxy series in the normal size (not mini) I'd buy a second hand galaxy S3 and get a sim only unlimited deal, still in contract myself but when it runs out I'll keep my phone and switch to sim only, I find most of the time I upgrade and sign another two year contract just to have the newer model that I don't do anything on that I couldn't do on the one before.

MOTM vs Swansea (A) (PL)
Matic for me, weird choice against ten men but I felt he pushed us forward and set up Demba nicely for the goal, Salah looks like he will be a good player for us next season, I liked his control if not his decision making.

Swansea v Chelsea (PL) 13/04/14 KO 16:07 BST
That was a difficult watch, worst game in a while for Eto,o bright sparks for me Salah and Matic, thought Matic was quite forward thinking all game but niticably to get in a good position for the throw in where he got us moving and set up the goal, Salah looks a bit willianesque in his finishing but quick feet and could had Eto'o have been sharper have had a couple of assists.

Following Our Nearest and Dearest Rivals, 2013-14
This is as much as we could hope for, an ordinary Liverpool performance and a poor City one to keep us in with a shout, City to drop more points to "lesser opposition" and Pool to be overconfident when they come up against us. If I had to choose the title winners if it was not to be us, I'd go for City but I'd sooner be in it right up to the end than let my hatred of Liverpool want City out of site when we still have a chance. As is with a red card or two before the end couldn't be any better for me.

Following Our Nearest and Dearest Rivals, 2013-14
I really find the gooner posters lack of respect for supposedly lower quality opposition cringeworthy, Arse were lucky today and he's celebrating as if the winner of the other semi don't have a hope...nicking it on penalties against a team from a lower division that had they kept on attacking instead of making a couple of changes that turned the game into an attack verses defense training game would have likely scored again is no reason to get so excited. The players are as bad, they celebrated like they'd won the quad and all they did was reach a final...if there is any justice they'll get stuffed in the final.

Jammy Barstards...I had a tenner on 1-0 Wigan, I think if the manager had have left the team alone I'd be collecting my winnings.
