Chelsea v Galatasaray (CL) 18/03/14 KO 19:45 GMT
I'd like to see Shurrle come on for Rami and Willian drop into Ramis role, be nice to see Oscar, Hazard, Shurrle and Eto'o having a field day.

Can't help but think we are responsible for the Scouse revival
Thing is with Liverpool, yes that have an advantage from lack of Europe and next season will be tougher on the squad but the fact that they will have had an impressive season and that they will be in the CL will have an enormous impact on the caliber of players they will be able to attract, I don't know what funds they have available but I'm pretty sure they would be a big contender for the type of players they have not been able to attract for a long time. I fear a dipper revival on a big scale and although annoying because of the media arselicking and their obnoxious fans and obviously a thorn in the sides of us and City will be a bigger blow to the likes of Arsenal and Spurs as that last CL place will be even more highly contested once UTD pull themselves together.

Chris Foy Strikes Again
I was updating the missus phone and missed it but she noticed it and was screaming at the tele.

Strikers
I know what your saying Nibs and all in form they would be some strikeforce, for me though even not in top form they are better than the alternatives, Oscar has gone off a bit but still with good workrate and the ability to make something happen in a way Willian doesn't offer, Hazard has no competition really if we want to stay in the race and an out of form Eto'o is a sgood as we ever get from Torres so I'd sooner let him have sixty five minutes every game and give ba the od twenty if he's looking tired. Torres for me had his mini revival under Jose and looks to have found the extra effort too much, I honestly think he should be third choice up front and after a feeling that he might be pulling his weight enough physically to be our best option, I now feel I was giving him more slack than he deserved. It's hard work watching a player like Shurrle come in, bag a hatrick and then be out of form two games later, we need to give a him a run of games with the same players around him, tiredness is surely not effecting him and as I say Hazard has to play every game so for me Eto'o and Oscar make the attacking four complete.

MOTM vs Aston Villa (A) (PL)
Azpilicueta for me, I thought Bacuna was having a good game for Villa but Dave still managed to do most things right, his curling outside of the foot ball into the path of Torres who was wrongly flagged offside with only the keeper to beat was a joy to behold as well.

I'm with Mike on tomorrows games, it's gonna be a cold day in hell before a sunday afternoon in front of the tele involves me cheering on UTD and Spurs again after tomorrow.

I still see Eto'o as our best option, he's a predator and what he lacks because of his age he makes up for with his instinct, not good enough to be our number one but given his competition, for me he is stand out number one, Ba still hasn't really had a run of games but he'd get minutes ahead of Torres for me. I'd play Eto'o with Shurrle Oscar and Hazard as long as they were all fit.

Aston Villa v Chelsea (PL) 15/03/14 KO 17:30 GMT
Not much to disagree with but to say our opposition was no better than Hull is wide of the mark for me, Hull looked lost going forward for the most part but Villa have players that can hut you, they have speed and strength and one man down to them is a different story to one man down to Hull.

Aston Villa v Chelsea (PL) 15/03/14 KO 17:30 GMT
Not a good performance, not helped by a bad refereeing display but still in a good position when you look at the input from our strikers, gutted to see Eto'o not in the squad today and think he is the best of what we have. Before the substitutions I was calling for Shurrle and Ba and said to the missus Torres off and either Oscar or Willian, forgetting as I wonder if Jose did that Willian was on a yellow as for me that would (espesially with hindsight) have swayed the decision and meant Oscar stayed on. Villa were well up for it and posed too much of a threat for us to keep throwing players forward a man down but Ramires rush of blood was as big a loss as the point we could have salvaged. Maybe Lampard wil be in for the Arsenal game although part of me is hoping Luiz is back and ready to play in midfield for that one. Still top and still ahead of schedule with what I expected from the season.

Its Benteke first scorer...I'm relying on our slow starts and better second half performances of late.

Our games are out of our control...I get plenty of stress out of them regardless.

Brilliant and I often wonder how people that earn the type of money footballers do don't do more things like it, I know if I earned what they do I would likely be as bad off at the end of the month as I am now with what I'd give away.

Sorry for you mate, I still think changing managers without anyone already on the radar has not been a help, lucky for you you have an easy game next although it is possibly a fourth place decider .

Who's going to win the World Cup?
Hard to look past Brazil on their home soil, they have the added bonus of keeping some Chelsea boys in the competition which is nice to watch. Argentina would be my next choice.

Of course I'm taking the piss...a gooner boasting on a Chelsea site deserves nothing less, and you deserve nothing less than another come uppance when your lot end the season with nothing more than the usual huge bonus of fourth place secured. Its Wigans to lose and I don't think they'll give it up lightly.

Redandwhite3 "This is our time and moment to do it. we worked to hard to get here with wins over spurs, liverpooil and everton to throw it away now." It wasn't long ago when you were sitting at the top of the table and listing the teams you'd beaten, now equal second you've given up on that which is very strange. I said back then that the scousers were more a threat than you lot and if I was a Hull city fan I'd be saying Wigan are a bigger threat in the cup.
