  1. That's the point in a release clause, once a club offer a price that is matching the players release clause, in this case 40m it HAS to be accepted because of this clause in the contract. Every player in Spain has a release clause, it's part of the rules in La Liga.
  2. The Shed End - Unofficial Chelsea FC Forum > Chelsea > Rumours I see no rumours.
  3. So erm... Robinho to hand in a transfer request :D
  4. Yes Kaka! What a legend! Silly City fans.
  5. Man City can't out bid us with Aguero, he has a clause in his contract where he can be brought for 40m.
  6. Sadly, that's like £20 to them.
  7. Malouda and Ashley are doing good! Bosingwa however.. Why does he try and run his way out of defence? This guy is not a defender.
  8. Lets steal Arshavin from under Arsenal's noses, he's going for 12m!
  9. I can't believe people are still questioning Malouda! We were winning before he got injured. He provided width, he isn't a winger he likes to play in a flat 4-4-2. He's been a key player for us and nobody realised untill he got injured. He's been involved in lots of passing moves that have led to goals and has more assists that any other of our players. We all moaned at him and blamed him when we weren't playing good but now most fans have realised that he is very important. Edit: Malouda also makes Ashley Cole get forward more.
  10. Milan are playing Fiorentina at 7.30pm tonight, all the Milan fans are protesting about the whole kaka stuff. I recommend watching, i certainly will be.
  11. Milan will be pressuring Kaka into signing so that they can re-build their ageing team. His 'friends' are probably begging him to join because they're so s**t! Kaka has it all at Milan, he's very happy there and has said he will only leave if Milan decide to sell him. Man City are ruining football and this is just the start of it.
  12. It was exciting and we did spend spend spend BUT we have never spent over 30m. We didn't ruin football, we brought players at competetive prices ( the other big teams could bid the same amount and get the player ) Man City are just buying players at prices that other teams can't compete with. It's exciting for City fans but now it's your turn to be the most hated team in the country.
  13. I dispise people who would rather their club win a trophy than their country. I hate every Liverpool fan for this reason, EVERY Liverpool fan i have spoke to have said they would rather Liverpool win the Premier League then England win the World Cup. So for me, England are more important than Chelsea.
  14. I think it's sad that one of the worlds best players is being forced out of the club he loves because of money. Milan HAVE to accept the offer and they will pressure Kaka into signing with City. Kaka is at his peak at the age of 26 and will be playing to avoid relegation this season and getting into the Uefa cup next season! His dream of becoming A.C Milan captain is pretty much over because of a unreal offer that can't be turned down. Who will be the next player forced to move on because the offer is too good to refuse? Messi? Ronaldo? Iniesta? The Manchester City fairy tale looks like it will turn real after all.
  15. Scolari said Malouda will play 45mins max. So i dunno about 4-4-2 unless we're 2 goals up and Scolari brings Kakuta or Stoch on to play LM!
  16. According to PhysioRoom Malouda is back tomorrow, i do hope so because he's actually been very important. I would like to see this team.. ....................PETR Ivanovic..Ricky....JT......Cole ...................MIKEL ..........Frank......Ballack Bosingwa........................Kalou ..................ANELKA If Malouda is back then Bosingwa can go back to right back and Malouda can go on the wing. I would rather have Bosingwa higher up because he can beat a man and get a good ball in and have Ivanovic and RB because he is a very good defender and deserves to play.
  17. If Roman wanted quick cash he would sell his 200m boat!
  18. Maybe Jose will take him at Inter and we can have Balotelli in return.
  19. Kaka snubs £100m City move Manchester City have been dealt a swift blow in their attempts to sign Kaka from Milan with the Brazilian superstar stating on Wednesday that he will not consider an exit from the San Siro. Having broken the British transfer record with the shock capture of Robinho on deadline day in August, City are now looking to obliterate the world record fee in January having prepared a reported £100 million cash bid for the 2007 Fifa World Player of the Year. Milan confirmed on Wednesday that chief executive Adriano Galliani met with a City delegation, which included chief executive Garry Cook and representatives of club owner Sheikh Mansour according to reports in the English press. But the Italian giants remain adamant that they did so out of common courtesy and that no dialogue has opened regarding a possible deal as yet, with a statement reading: "Galliani received a delegation from Manchester City yesterday in Milan as a gesture of courtesy like always in these cases. There are no talks at the moment." Kaka’s representative had claimed that the star would consider a move to Eastlands if a deal was agreed between the two clubs, but now the former Sao Paulo playmaker has seemingly dismissed talk of a January switch to City by underlining that his future remains in Milan. And while the Rossoneri are currently only competing in the Uefa Cup after a disappointing campaign last season, Kaka insists he will stay faithful to the club if they continue to build on the legacy of seven European Cups and 17 Serie A titles. “As long as the club keep high objectives, my desire will always be to stay at Milan,†Kaka told Mediaset, which is also owned by Milan supremo Silvio Berlusconi. “I want to get old here and my objective for the future is to become this team’s captain. “I refused important offers in the past.†Kaka has scored 86 goals in 244 appearances for Milan, helping the Rossoneri to a Serie A title and the 2007 Champions League en route to becoming one of the globe’s elite footballers. The 26-year-old was also a member of the Brazil squad that won the 2002 World Cup under Luiz Felipe Scolari and was named on the shortlist for the 2008 World Player of the Year award that was awarded to Cristiano Ronaldo on Monday. The current world record transfer fee is the £46 million that Real Madrid paid Juventus for Zinedine Zidane in 2001. Haha, poor City. They got all excited!
  20. Imagine a future midfield of Iniesta-Mikel-Essien. Go on, imagine.
  21. Kaka isn't going City. If they get a bid accepted i think Roman will match it. Kaka wouldn't go to City, why would he leave his favourite team to go to Man City who're just above the drop zone. Kaka isn't a greedy person either, he loves football, not money.
  22. 1. They're stories in the papers, it doesn't mean they're true. 2. Did Grant have any European experience? No, we got to the final. 3. - 4. Wow, you're moaning about Malouda? You do realise that he was actually one of our key players don't you? Everyone ( including myself ) would say Malouda was useless and whatever but we've been shocking since he got injured, we have no width in our team without him. 5. Set-pieces are our weakness and Scolari knows this so he has stated that he will change the system. 6. Fair point. 7. Fair point again. 8. The Carling Cup loss was just unlucky, we lost on Pens. We obviously should of beaten Burnley before it got to pens but that's not all Scolari's fault, it's more the players fault who think they are too good for lower league teams and don't have to play to their best abilty. 9. Deco is still a great player but is finding it hard to settle. The Premier League might be too fast and physical for him but it's still pretty early. 10. Roman is being tight at the moment, it's pretty obvious that Scolari wants/needs more players but he can't have any right now, wait till the summer. Scolari shouldn't go yet, he's been in the job for 5 months, we're 2nd in the league, in the F.A Cup and last 16 of CL. We are playing bad at the moment and we just need to string a few wins together and we will be the free scoring Chelsea we saw at the start of the season. We can't get rid of a manager every season because he doesn't win a trophy or he loses a few games, it doesn't work like that. We need Scolari to stick around for a few years and let him sign players he wants and build the team he wants. He has Mourinho's squad at the moment and it doesn't suit the formation he wants to play. We have too many midfielders and not enough wingers and strikers for a 4-4-2 that Scolari wants. Stop being childish and calling for Scolari's head because the team isn't winning every game.
