  1. Too many, too similar, too young, too talented to all be happy. Some will inevitably end up playing second fiddle to the others, they'll be disappointed and leave.
  2. 'Oops! I hadn't realised football manager was a forum member and this thread was a dig at another thread.
  3. I am gutted you are gutted football manager is gutted we’ve got Mourinho. I am also gutted for the media and Chelsea fans who can’t blame Roman or the Board for imposing players on the manager anymore.
  4. We already know this, KDB and Lukaku are coming back and Courtois is staying another year in Madrid.
  5. It’s a type of baguette from Waitrose. From what I have read Chelsea’s offer is a few million euros short of the buy out clause and Napoli want the full amount. Go on Roman pay the full amount and bring him in, it’s the only way to soften the blow of having to put up with MErinho for the next three years.
  6. He will be successful here because you’ll be hard pushed to find a manager that wouldn’t be successful with this team especially after he’s splashed out 100 mil to strengthen it. He will stay a long time because frankly most of the other big clubs don’t want him. Italy is a possibility, but they could probably only afford to pay him a third of his salary, and may be France in a few years, if the new investments there bear fruits.
  7. I don’t blame him for that either. My point was against Chelsea fans for being naïve in believing that if Roman hadn’t sacked him he would still be at Chelsea, when he probably would have left of his own accord at the end of that season or the next because of his ambition. If anything the sacking has worked in his favour. Sorry McLovin83, I was reading an article on line and footage of that particular bit of the interview popped up and reminded me of it.
  8. Happy now that you have heard it from the horse's mouth?
  9. Man City have an office in London. I'm just saying
  10. he is definitely in London as he was spotted in the dole office in Victoria.
  11. Brazilian Chelsea fan named baby son Lampard, known as 'Lampardinho' http://espnfc.com/blog/_/name/thetoepoke/id/3311?cc=5739
  12. Why not?!? Look outside. Look at the soaked wet trees, look at that old man with a cane still wrapped in his winter coat folded over by the wintry wind and worrying about where the fock is he gonna get the extra money from for the additional fuel bill. Summer is on its way nowhere to be seen and the warm soft breeze as the rain slashes against the window panes you can hear the gentle harsh chirp of the young birds dying in their nests and it fills your heart with joy misery. Perfect day for sod all. There I fixed it for you
  13. A piece from Matthew Syed in The Times yesterday. I wouldn’t recommend reading it if you are a Morinho’s fan.
  14. Well, he's made a rod for his own back. He's been going on for ages about zero titles, how much he's won, how runners up are losers but now is whinging about not being appreciated for finishing in 3rd/4th place. Having a cake and all that.
  15. I am not even going to read the rubbish written by Sam Wallace in the article in the independent linked above. I bet is the usual drivel anti Mourinho. Does he know that Mourinho to win that title in Spain only spent 150 million, to strengthen a team that only had Ronaldo, de Maria, Higuein, Casillas, Ramos, Alonso, Kaka, Benzema , Arbeola ... he is not special he is a miracle worker.
  16. Hang in there Roman, think carefully about bringing the Unemployed One here.
  17. I couldn't have said better than Patrick Barclay did in the Evening Standard yesterday: "There may be no Sir Alex Ferguson in the Old Trafford dugout next season, or Paul Scholes on the pitch, but there will be a Lampard at the Bridge — and that’s living, breathing and thriving history."
  18. No, I am not taking the piss, I genuinely prefer if he didn’t come back to the club, and I do think if he comes back he is going to make changes to the team and Oscar and Luiz could well find themselves out of the starting eleven
  19. Where exactly is this big amount of crap that I have written?
  20. Do they look like the sort of players Mourinho goes for to you?
  21. They wouldn't leave, I was implying that Mourinho would get rid of them.
  22. Let’s hope Jose and Real can sort out their differences and continue their relationship together, I hate to see managers sacked. Those two will be the first two out the starting eleven, if not out of the club.
  23. I think that within two years the dominant forces in the Premier league will be Man City and Chelsea, irrespective of whether Fergie and/or Mourinho are there or not.
  24. The ones on the bench seem to adore him more.
