I think they really did hit the nail on the head last night concerning Ballack - especially Hansen. The gist of it was, that yes he played a lot better last night and they did highlight a lot of the good things he did. What Hansen picked up on though for me was spot on. During the time our form has been poor you look at the players who don't appear to be giving 100% and when you look at Ballacks style of play, he never looks to be giving everything - he always has this appearance of strolling through games. Whilst we are winning and the team is playing well - no problem. But as soon as things dip and questions are being asked, the likes of Ballack will always come in for criticism - especially from the likes of ME!! Cheers, it makes more sense now. However, I wouldn?t have picked a game where he played well to pick his faults.

They have already played Arsenal home and away and lost both by the way. I have a feeling that this fact is gonna make matters worse, if 6 of the 15 points dropped went to Arsenal it means that all the other teams put together have only managed to get 9 points out of them. As for the away games to Anfield and SB they are definitely capable of getting something out of them if not against us at least against Liverpool. I wonder if with Essien in the Maka?s role we would have fared better. I mean Crouch and Kuyt are hardly lethal weapons so anyone can mark them but not anyone can cut out the opposition like Maka or Essien and prevent the ball getting into them in the first place. I am more disappointed with the fact that we did not create anything than the heart of Chelsea (JT, Carvalho, Maka) was out.

The lack of service and Chelsea tactics don?t convince me at all as the reasons for Sheva?s poor performances.
