I just can't see how you'd say he played it simple today. Perhaps there were a good few 10 yard balls that met their man but there were just too many balls up the pitch that hit a Newcastle player. It's been happening all season. I'd be staggered if he started on Wednesday - and pleased! Cahill had one of his best games of the season today , without ever kicking a ball.

Have you got stats to back that up?! But you're right today there were a lot of culprits. Though he's been shocking for ages now.

Just posted on the match thread and I'll add something similar here - his continual conceding of possession is becoming very tiring. I'd love to see his pass completion rate this season. His balls from defence are horrific, I suspect after today Cahill gets a solid run in the team. at least I hope he does anyway, just can't see Jose accepting it anymore.

A wake up call for everyone. A well deserved victory for Newcastle, you have to give them credit. Utterley sick to death of the continual wasted position by David Luiz, and I don't think it can go on much longer. Ashley Cole not far behind either. Expect a reaction.

Has he? Bertrand has a lot of experience - he has played plenty of games under his belt in the past few years for a number of different clubs. He's the same age as Azpi and certainly can claim to know what the Champions League is all about.Azpi is a good player and in Jose we trust etc but this must hurt Ryan and I think he deserves better.

He was shocking from start to finish

Not that I saw. Cardiff were somewhat excitable throughout though. Second half there seemed to be something going on with them and a few chelsea lads high in the east stand which seemed to lead to a few ejections but I didn't really get the gist of what was going down

JT for me. Solid and utterley in charge and totally back to his best under Jose. So good to see him like this again. Thought Hazard, Willian and Bertrand were decent too. Oscar of course upped our level upon his arrival . Worst on the pitch? The ref. I'm sure both sets of fans today would agree.

Bit drunk on train home. Few thoughts of today: 4:1 flattered us, so much to still work on JT man of the match. Back to his best Willian looks top drawer Frank off the pace and looking his age Great Eto'o scored but he is taking too many touches Brana solid but so bored of the wasted whipped cross to nobody Oscar upped the pace of our play by about 50% Cardiff fans loud and feisty Didn't see the equaliser but the keeper didn't seem to complain too much Ref was utterley shocking couldn't wait to make a name for himself and send Jose off. Oh and finally, Jose. Oh my does he care for this club.

The Brazilans (bar Willian) have done a fair few miles this week so I figure they may be benched tommorow but all sure to start in the week. But knowing Jose they may all start! Very hard to predict. Either way, weve got to be looking at 3 points tommorow.

Huntelaar has now had surgery on his knee and is out till the new year, so will miss both games. Good for us, but of course for bad for him! Hope he recovers soon, always quite rated him, we certainly could've done a lot worse.

The greatest tv show of all time and certainly one of the most influential. All of today's big shows owe something to TP. The first tv show to really spin storylines over multiple episodes and geniuelly frightening and disturbing at times too. Season 2 certainly tailed off with silly storylines and poor characters getting more airtime than some of the established characters before Lynch came back for that last staggering episode (it was Mark Frost who did most of the story writing by the way, not Lynch) I will never tire of the world Frost and Lynch created. The atmosphere, characters and in particular the music. Words don't do it justice.

Yeah it works both ways. Some members go to many more games than ST holders, particularly away matches and so I think this does deserve to be recognised. When I was a season ticket holder I generally thought that gave me a free run on whatever I wanted but it never worked out like that. Saying I'm a season ticket holder so I deserve a ticket just doesn't cut it (not aimed at you OP!) and I know it's infuriating. It must be a hard thing to manage and I think in general the club do a good job. They can't please everyone, sadly. Get the impression that the Emirates Cup game is going to be the away trip of the season, it's going to be mental in the morning but I'm going to give it my best shot.

Lad needs some PR training, simple really. He's only 19 after all.
