Whilst I agree with your post, those Sevilla games weren’t a cup final though. I know Jose has lost two finals in his career but the records show for the most part he knows how to win them whereas Conte’s records show that he doesn’t.

We could bring a new coach in still and just place Conte on garden leave.

I have to admit watching the 2001 final with a bunch of Arsenal fans was hilarious when Michael Owen scored a brace and won Liverpool the cup. It was sh*t to see either team win but watching it with gutted Gooner fans made it fun. I remember aswell the following season when they played each other again (might have been the 4th round) and this time Arsenal beat them. Watched that with my Liverpool mate so that was actually kind of funny in the reverse.

I’m not saying he should necessarily be a starter but I think it’s worth giving him the opportunity. I don’t think we can say he isn’t ready really when you really never know when a youngster is ready. We’ve see youngsters break into the scene at clubs and take the bull by the horns unexpectedly.

What position is this lad? More I see and hear of some of these young lads we really could save ourselves looking at players abroad for millions and just bring some of these lads in.

That would be a phenomenal season imo.

I think if we’re playing these random teams that have part time players etc then yeah they should be starting those games. Also thinking of it we qualify early too we could play more youth in the final group game(s). There’s many scenarios where the EL can really benefit our youth development but I do want us to take it seriously.

We may aswell just stick him on garden leave, if a job crops up during the season and he really wants it he’ll have to break his contract.
