Maybe just bring Michy back in that case. Although as much as I’m a fan of Giroud I don’t think you can have him as your star centre forward for a whole season.

This is where the Europa League can really benefit us. There are all those extra games and if we qualify early we could give the youth players a good run out in it. The fact that our youth players are consistently so successful proves they should be getting chances. Also this may be wishful thinking but (and I hate to bring them up) but look at how lucky Spurs got with Harry Kane. He showed his talent in that competition forcing his way into the Spurs first team. How great would it be for one or two of our youth players to burst onto the scene like that.

So if Morata goes who do we sign upfront?

Yeah it was wonderful, that Porto game will forever stand out. That loss to Liverpool at home was awful, such a hard one to take. It was a shame, the players seemed to be knackered after 60-70 mins aswell after a few months. Thankfully Hiddink stepped in and steadied the ship. I’m convinced the work Hiddink did in that short term really benefited Ancelotti the following season.

I kind of got what AVB was trying to do in that he was trying to move the team on. But he went the wrong way about it to the point where he was disrespectful to some of the senior players. Have to say that I didn’t really like his personality and that’s the way I feel about Conte. Scoalri was by far our worst appointment in the Roman era imo but he was quite likeable as a person I felt.

If we can keep Hazard and if we can bring in some good players it won’t make much of a difference. Call me crazy but I’m actually quite excited about the Europa League. I’m actually bored of the Champions League and I think we’d have a better chance of winning the Europa League. There’s also pros to the EL: - it’s another route to the CL if our league position isn’t top 4 (granted that doesn’t mean it’s easy to win) - our youth players may actually get some game time and it could benefit us long term

I’m confused by what you’ve said.

Many people such as myself can’t afford to do go the games. Doesn’t make me any less of a fan. Nor does it make my opinion any less. I don’t get why some people attend the matches act like those that don’t or can’t don’t have an equally valid opinion. Something to note aswell people who watch it on TV actually see more of the game, more angles, more replays, close ups etc. So I also think some people who attend games and think they know more about a match need to remember that. There is some arrogance about some match going fans in that they act like those that can’t or don’t go are beneath them. I’m not saying this is you btw just making a general statement. Also I don’t think any of this has anything to do with the Conte situation.

It’s a bit much calling Conte names like c*** etc but I don’t think anyone should be getting sh*t for wanting him gone and disliking the guy. He’s done nothing but throw his toys out of the pram this season, he’s taken no responsibility for what he’s done and he’s done some of the stupidest decisions I’ve ever seen. It’s hard to not think there’s intent in what he’s done sometimes. Ive only ever really lived three coaches at Chelsea Guilit, Vialli and Mourinho. They were special, others like Ranieri, Hiddink and Ancelotti I really liked and I even thought Scolari was a nice bloke. But Conte I just find the most miserable man ever. Last season he only started to smile when we did well. No I’m not saying that we should expect him to smile but at times he hasn’t even shown any passion. Last season when we won the league two games stood out to me Spurs away and the FA cup final. It felt like he had no plan B and I think with a manager like that it always goes the same way. I appreciate he led us to the league title last season but I’ve never truly warmed to him and for me I’ll be glad to see the back of him.

I wouldn’t stick him on garden leave and let Jody coach the team for the remaining two matches. There’s no way we’re winning the FA Cup final with him in charge. Hes a one trick pony if you ask me as soon as his 3 at the back formation wasn’t working this season he’s been clueless. He’s blamed everyone but himself whenever something’s gone wrong as well. Can’t wait to see the back of him and his negative attitude.

Sorry but I think he deserves it. He’a complainer about transfers even though we spent plenty of money in the summer. He’s constantly caused his own problems with dodgy team selections, inability to see that some players need a rest, dropping Giroud for games even when he’s been our best player in the previous match and his inability to see when a team isn’t working in a game making the latest subs known to man. I think he has to go and deserves what’s been thrown at him. He’s shown us fans no respect this season either.

Honestly the big problem in 2018 has been Conte. His inability to pick the right team, his inability to make the correct subs at the correct times and he’s sh*tty ass attitude have cost us.
