I would prefer us to have a long term manager who can build his own team and stick with us a long time. But that's just not going to be Carlo. He's tactically naive and very slow to react to things. I would prefer a younger manager who has Chelsea ties, or a young British manager.

Carlo seems to have benched him permanently recently. He used to get 10-15 mins at the end of games sometimes, but It's been ages since he's even come off the bench. very disappointing when he's such a creative player and when that's exactly what we're crying out for he is made to just sit there.

Thoughts? I know a lot of responses to the match thread have been emotional because it's only just finished, but in all honesty I think we knew this defeat was definitely on the cards before the game even started due to our terrible form.

I'd prefer someone with Chelsea ties to come in like a Zola, a Clarke, a Wise, a Petrescu or a DiMatteo. But f**k it, we could even stick John Terry in charge until the end of the season, at least he loves the club and would do everything to help us win... :S

Players and management are both to blame. But carlo simply has to go soon i'm afraid. We need someone who can take the players by the scruff of their wallets and get them motivated. Someone who is not afraid to give promising youngsters a go when the older players are underperforming week after week. Someone who has more than 1 or 2 plans to use over 50+ games.

Deserved to lose. Terrible. Season over now, just have to try and finish 4th.
