Stadium Expansion
Well that's just the way things work. Why do you think Man Utd have so many supporters? Because they were successful for a long time. You get more glory hunters when you are successful, but hopefully that equates to them becoming life long fans and passing it onto their kids as well if you're lucky.

Terry reinstated as England captain
So how many decibels do you think the booing for Terry will reach on saturday?

Stadium Expansion
If we had a bigger ground though we wouldn't sell it out nearly as much. Man Utd can get 70k for matches because they have been at the top of world football for decades, in contrast we're still just starting out and anyhting above probably about 50k we'd struggle to fill seats at the moment. We need a good few years of dominance at the top and in Europe to attract more fans (glory hunters) before we can realistically think about a bigger ground. But I wouild be devestated if we left the Bridge. I don't know how much revenue that hotel and chelsea village brings in, but could it not be offset by getting rid of it and having more seats in the stadium?

Guardian the secret footballer
Nah, Ashley Cole isn't that kind of person.

What changes would you like for next year? (merged)
He's been mentioned before, but he seems to not be particularly rated by Mancini at City, as he's been a sub for the majority of his appearances this season. So I wonder if he's worth a sneaky bid? We've got Malouda, but he's getting on and his recent performances (the whole season really apart from the first few games) have been poor and self indulgent. Zhirkov is coming back from injury and is always going to be an injury worry. I think someone like Johnson could do a good job for us next season, because we really need some more width and creativity. If Malouda left and we had Johnson and Zhirkov on the left, I'd be pretty satisfied with that. Then we would just need to look at strengthening the right wing as well, maybe with someone like that Hazard or similar, and probably bring in an extra striker and offload Drogba and Anelka (or one of them). I've gone a bit off track, but Johnson...Yay or nay do we think?

Thank you, Joe Cole.
I was very surprised and disappointed by the treatment Cudicini got on some Chelsea forums after leaving for spurs as well. A great player for us for many years, left looking for first team football and some of the comments from people were extremely disappointing, saying they would boo him and were quite happy to forget everything good he ever did for us just because he was moving to a rival. That kind of thing shouldn't be a part of supporting a football team.

Good win. Lovely goal from Ramires, deserved it he played very well. The difference in our play once Malouda went off was so clear that Carlo surely can't start him again for a while now.

Roman shaking his head as Torres comes off, he's not happy either then. Ridiculous sub to make, Torres has been playing well.

The criticism isn't aimed at the team so much, but at individuals like Malouda and Lampard for being so bloody selfish. As a team we played reasonably well, but we need to stop passing sideways, taking ridiculous long range shots, etc... and just get the ball into the box for Kalou and Torres, because they are looking quite lively.

Josh? Oh, he' not on the bench.

Chelsea v Man City (PL) 20/03/11 KO 16:00 GMT
Only way Torres will get a goal today is if he robs the defence and does everything himself, cos no-one is passing to him it seems.

Lampard's being bloody selfish as well today. He's not as good as he used to be, he needs to stop thinking he can still crack them in from 30 yards.

We need less long range shooting and more through balls, like Zhirkov was doing against Copenhagen.

How should he know? He hasn't been at the club for about 9 years ...

Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals
I'm pretty sure it is against the rules of the ban. When Jose was banned he wasn't allowed to talk to anyone on the bench, remember there was a big hoo-haa about whether or not he had been talking to the fitness coach on a headphone under his hat...

Fabio Borini
We haven't lost him yet, he's there on loan. But it's not looking too good for him really, despite scoring all the time every chance he gets, he's just not had a look-in at all.

Thank you, Joe Cole.
Quality player, though towards the end of his Chelsea days seemed to be injured more often than not and never really got going at 100% again. Still, having said that I wouldn't mind having him in the squad this season to throw on and create something when we were playing sh*t.

Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals
This spurs match is painful to watch as a Chelsea fan..they are just on a higher level to us (attacking/creative-wise) at the moment, and I never thought I'd say that. Wingers are actually running at people, commiting them, so are the full backs, not just running into their half and then stopping and passing it sideways or backwards. Strikers are lively and first to loose balls in the box. Midfielders are showing quick feet, nice skill, great vison. Bleh. Hope they lose.

Champions League Draw
I'm pretty sure we've still got the best record of any opposition team at Old Trafford. Bring it on.

I would go for the same as above, but switch Drogba with Torres probably.
