I am glad we won, I hoped Torres would have got more than 10 minutes on the pitch, but that doesn't excuse some of the schoolboy mistakes he was making like getting caught offside twice when he's looking straight along the line. Like I said, it is clear the guy has 0 confidence, and giving him a token 10 minutes at the end of a game isn't going to improve this.

Torres. Mis-hitting things, offside when he should be paying attention, etc... Was unlucky to have a goal ruled out, but you can see from his body language, the way he looks at the floor all the time, just wanders around he's totally lost out there. I don't think he's going to get a goal this season, might be better off really just leaving him out and letting him start again in pre-season.

I'd be tempted to start Torres just because his confidence must be totally shot at the moment and he desperately needs a goal, but maybe he would be better coming on later when the WBA players will be more tired and he will be able to use his pace a bit more effectively. Plus Drogba deserves to start after the Man Utd appearance.
