I appreciate my post aged badly, much like myself, but come on…we were totally outplayed in both league games this season and barely got into their half in either match, let alone having a chance. Thoroughly demoralising.

I thought we’d lose from the get-go, just thought it was set up for ‘good to triumph over evil’. I’m more upbeat because of how well we played. Obviously disappointed to When you factor in the chances, the terrible/bent decisions over Keita red card and Lukaku’s goal. but Ukraine puts any letdown into perspective.

Having watched the replays again, pulisic’s lazy finish annoyed me more…mount’s shocked me more cos I thought it was in. Easy to say from here but if he’s gone for placement rather than power, it would have been easier given the ball was behind him. Shame because his run to get there was brilliant and it was a good move with Pulisic, have to give him praise in this instance, getting in a great position between the lines to run with the ball.
