Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2021/22
I know how you feel. If those two get to the final it’s trying to choose between the lesser of two evils. I want citeh to beat them to the PL but the thought of them winning the CL for the first time isn’t pleasant at all. It’s been fun seeing them fail every year and not be at our level. obviously Liverpool are the ultimate 🤮 so ideally Madrid complete comeback next week and Villarreal somehow beat Liverpool.

If only we could find a striker like Benzema

No-one will be surprised Madrid leaking goals left, right and centre. We had enough chances to do the same.

Great game ruined by Bt…finally remembered to mute it and sync with radio commentary.

Trying not to sound bitter (for a change), but this semi final just doesn’t feel like a big game. Man City are a great side obviously but they’re still just meh as a club and fanbase. Vanilla ice cream or beige paint.

Chelsea v West Ham (PL) Sun 24th Apr 2022 14:00 GMT
We were crap and have been at home for months…but while admitting I wasn’t there to make a difference, I thought the fans were just as crap to be honest. I get the argument that you need to see the team give something (a hell of a lot more than they did for long periods on Sunday) but there was basically nothing from the crowd until we scored. I remember when just a few thousand of us were let back in against leeds and Leicester last season and we made a hell of a lot more noise than that. Clearly season ticket holders have got comfy with watching football again and forgotten what a privilege it is to watch a game at the bridge (yes even when we’re sh*t). Tuchel complained about the lack of atmosphere at home games lately and you have to admit, it’s not been good enough and surely hasn’t helped.

I remember Drogba getting sent off in a cl final for what mane just did

We were sh*t today, no denying it. But the difference in commentary between the two games is chalk and cheese. Sky slagged is off for the whole game earlier, not even questioning West Ham’s negative approach. This match is just as mediocre…Tyler is screaming if Liverpool win a throw-in.

N'golo Kante - We are not worthy!
Can't remember the last Kante game we have seen from Kante. Arguably not seen him hit the heights of CL run last season. There were flashes against Madrid last week but his poor passing, which has been notably bad this season, undid the good work. Starting to think if we get a big bid this summer, we should take it. He has one year left on his contract and he's only playing 50% of our games these days.

Not saying he was great but we were worse after Lukaku went off. Barely did a thing in attack.

Lost to a sh*te arsenal team for a second year in a row and gifted it to them on a plate too. Utter bollox. Tuchel has to look at himself in the mirror..the team he picked was sh*te. How can Chalobah not get in that defence? Sarr shouldn’t play for the club again. Hopeless.

Kante is a shadow of the player he used to be, sadly.

Why do sky keep making out nketiah scored two worldies when they were absolute gifts that any striker should score?

I remember them most for being on their high horse during fergie era about how we lacked class sacking managers and having players run the dressing room…quite sweet seeing them not just in the same boat but a hell of a lot worse

The difference when Liverpool players get a chance and our players….we may take one chance in every six…they’re one in every two (at least). That’s the difference.

Thank goodness we didn’t get Rangnick when lampard went. Dodged a bullet there. starting to get worried about Liverpool winning all four. Of course we will have a big say in preventing that…but not only are they playing well, they have that momentum and all the breaks with it. Not even having one of those games where a team scores from their one shot on target and the oppo keeper has a blinder and they hit the post several times. we have another chance of beating the worst Utd side in living memory next week. Remarkable we are on such a bad run against them.

Chelsea v Palace (FA Semi) Sun 17th Apr 2021 16:30 GMT
Atmosphere wasn’t great our end…but think some benefit of the doubt is required here…as I inferred above, we have been ‘spoilt’ by annual visits to Wembley…for palace it was a rarity, of course it was more exciting for them…but also we have beaten palace something like 10 games in a row and they play dull football against us….not saying it’s right, but it’s understandable if people weren’t exactly up for it. I’ll be much more annoyed if there is a repeat v Liverpool when it matters. the home game against Madrid recently provides a positive contrast…big occasion against big opponents and we were loud throughout, even at 3-1 down.

Chelsea v Palace (FA Semi) Sun 17th Apr 2021 16:30 GMT
One of those days where the chant ‘you’ve had your day out now fcuk off home’ is just so appropriate. Palace virgins in their thousands giving it large as their team inevitably huffed and puffed…then lost. meanwhile us rather ‘spoilt’ chelsea fans just waited for the team to click a few times to win. really hope revenge is sweet against Liverpool in the final.
