Has Pulisic done anything right this half?

Pulisic as lethargic with making the pass there as he was with the early chance.

Fear this is going to be a horrible experience. Not only losing the game but having to put with everyone heralding Liverpool as the saviours of football/humanity/the world during the game and afterwards.

Very cynical when politicians speak up - bit of a look at me exercise. I’m not one to think the sun shines out of Roman’s Arse…but I am a bit mystified why he and chelsea are being blamed for Ukraine.

Seems like a lot of people have got their knickers in a twist over a statement that effectively says Chelsea will continue to be run exactly the same way.

Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2021/22
Trying to figure out which fans have the most overexciteable fanbase between Arse and spurs. Get a good result and they think they’re the bollox only to get a reality check soon after. Arsenal are doing better in the league of late for sure…but they seem to have forgotten how it’s another season without a trophy and have benefitted from no European football, getting a lot more rest than most of the teams around them. That included getting games farcically called off when they only had one or two covid cases. If they finish in the top 4, it will be a positive season for them but no more than that. And it’s still a big if at this stage. Long way to go.

Chelsea have played Liverpool twice this season, were the better side away until the red card and penalty. Were the better team after coming back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 as well. Obviously a tough game but Chelsea are no mugs. and since playing us, they have played a lot of the worst/most struggling teams in the pl. obviously done a very good job against them, but does put things in perspective.

Would like to think Chelsea can defend/play a bit better than leeds.

Starting to actually wonder if it’s United’s year in the cl. They’re sh*t, have played like sh*t throughout the competition this season and yet continue to scrape results. Incredible.

Romelu Lukaku back to Chelsea - and gone again!
What’s going on with him right now is more than just his ability. For me he’s downed tools on Tuchel. He’s not even trying, which is worse than not being good enough. Just compare how he played off the bench v Villa or against Brighton before that interview came out…he bullied opposition defenders. Has done nothing since the big fall out at the start of the year and couldn’t lay a glove on league one centre halfs. That’s down to attitude if you ask me. Disappointing to say the least.

Leicester’s defending…fcuk me…a bad week has just got a hell of a lot worse.

Romelu Lukaku back to Chelsea - and gone again!
I can’t defend lukaku’s behaviour and performances over last few weeks. He’s actually shown very little since that apology. So much for making amends. However as you rightly raise, the lack of passes he gets is a joke. There were a few occasions in the second half tonight where balls were fired up to him, he held it up and laid it off to a teammate..how fcuking difficult is it to do this on a more regular basis? The second half display v villa three weeks ago showed he can still be an asset. But not if we pass the ball sideways and at 1 mph.

Romelu Lukaku back to Chelsea - and gone again!
Given issues ‘star’ players from the bundesliga are having here, wouldn’t you say that league has also been exposed for not being all that too?

Callum Hudson-Odoi
Was really bad tonight…we shouldn’t forget that chelsea’s best run of form came during a period he was a regular as a left 10…but he has to make more of his opportunities…played in so many times and rarely took his full back on, just doing a simple pass.

Simply have to beat spurs and then hope the winter break works wonders…only beaten Watford, leeds and villa since chilwell’s injury.

First time I’m a bit worried…tonight felt like more than just fatigue to me.

Surely havertz starts up top v Brighton…then bring rom back in for spurs. Lukaku has his faults but think there is more to it than that…he just looks off…fall out from that interview is still going on I reckon.

Unfortunately he stepped right just as de bruyne shot so he couldn't get across...you could also look at Kante losing out to De Bruyne, Kovacic not getting across to cover and none of the defenders stepping out properly to close him down as reasons the goal was scored.

Tuchel got it wrong, pure and simple. Bizarre to pick out of form Pulisic and the non-pressing Ziyech for such a huge game. Lukaku was anonymous too. Biggest disappointment for me was the attitude...looked like a team afraid to lose rather than one wanting to win. Don't think City were even that great for all their dominance. Didn't create much and took a worldie from debruyne to win it. That made it all the more demoralising.
