A friend of his was killed in a car crash a week or so ago and the club allowed him some time off, according to the Telegraph and other news outlets after doing a bit of googling. But he's injured anyway so he would still have missed the last few matches. Seriously? Would you have held it against him if Lampard hadn't played that night?

Norwich were allocated 6000 tickets for the game. That's near the full capacity of the Shed. They didn't sell anywhere near the full allocation (price seems to have been an issue) and, I'm guessing here, what with this being a replay there wasn't time to return the tickets to Chelsea so they could sell to home fans.

I don't know what to think after that. We were sh*t tonight. Whatever it is about Arsenal, Conte just can't seem to set the team up right. It's like he's trying to be defensive in his approach but they just cut us open easily. In the last 10 years we've handled Arsenal easily enough, apart from when the team was going through bad spells like under Scolari, Carlo or AVB. But that's not the case under Conte. Anway, in the end we could have been well beaten, but with the chances Morata missed we should have won comfortably. Weird f**king game.

That has to go in from Morata. So so poor. The Torres comparisons earlier may have been jokes, but it's eerily similar at times watching him in those positions.
