My first chelsea shirt, i must of been about 8! I always liked the black kits, i had the first one back in 2002 aswell but this one was always my favourite, wouldn't surprise me if most fans thoguht it was horrible though!

Hey guys I'm in Brighton hospital with a collapsed lung atm and you can imagine my disgust when at 3pm I found the only TVs in the hospital have anologue arials! Thankfully one of the lovely nurses wheel to my bed a heart screen monitor with internet access and I let first row sports do its thing. Maybe its just my medication addled mind or the fact that all the Fa's meddling really has ruined magic of the cup but as a younger fan as was feeling no where near the levels of emotion some fans have stated since the game but was almost wiping tears after barca... that's not to say I'm not over the moon of course, were half way there lads!

So glad i missed the first half due to work and not the second! Anyone know why BBC went with that photo of Luiz and Torres for the live text haha??

While he may not be everyones favourite here i'm glad RDM has been giving Kalou a chance after his chelsea career seemed all but dead in the pan, he's been playing with a point to prove the last few games and Had a nice finish today!

Hmm what can i say, only game i've been to the Bridge this year was against Norwich when he scored a stunner and Mata scored on his debut! He has had a fair few stinkers since then but i don't think he looked to awful against city, i really think he would be best used as a player on right mid or even right wing forward when it comes to resting players near the end of games (he seemed alright attacking yesterday and was higher up the pitch than Sturridge for most of the second half attacks!)..

I agree with this, I've been reading these boards for the past year and have finally registered, i've hated some of the things i've read about Kalou on here, i know, and i'm sure he knows himself he is not good enough for the starting 11 but whether it carling cup, low premierleague sides and even the big teams he has got as some crucial goals and deserves his place in the squad ( i seem to remember an 89th min headed goal from him that saved us a point a year or so ago but can't remember the game!). While at the moment i think Ramires cannot and should not be dropped, I think Merielles should make way for Lampard even though overall i think he should start ahead, i've seen certain comments such as after yesterdays match that might suggest Lampard is throwing his toys out the pram a bit after being sub for two games and i really hate disharmony in the changing room and Frank can clearly do the job needed whether Raul has played better or not.. I think Torres should start aswell with Mata on the left so we have a bit of creativity to help him and Kalou.. This is just my opinion though of course and while i wouldn't be surprised if AVB stuck with the same front line as monday i have confidence he will get us the right result which is all that matters in the end..
