Classic.

The home and away strips of the '97 Cup winning season. I also love the '05-'06 home strip with the gold trim. Worst kit by far was the home shirt that we won the double in - cycling top!

Loved this one.

Guys, let's not argue about this, this was the kit, it had everything, the stripe down the short (bring it back now), the number on the front of the short (bring it back now), the white socks that make Chelsea look so classy, the white trim (let's not mess about here), and more importantly it was royal blue, Chelsea's true colour.

^ Not forgetting the strings that tied up the shorts.

It's the little details.

Now let's close this thread.

Oh, and for those of you that may be a little younger ..

They wore black boots !!!!!!!!

I think that kit was one of the (thankfully) few occasions in the club's history, where the shirt was better quality than some of the players wearing it!.

Bought n°9 Ossie shirt by scoredraw last month for 10 quid (searched for it at a decent price forever), that's THE perfect kit for Chelsea.

The umbro one posted by Davey is also great with that white collar.

Talking bout modern days, I loved almost everything Umbro made, I've got the one posted by RFC_CFC with Zola 25 on the back and it's amazing, but I'll go with the 04-05 kit, also for the memories that it brings back in my mind.

Umbro made good kits, Addidas have made some really shocking kits and it seemed like as soon as addidas took over all the prices went up in the megastore.

Back in the early 70's my mum, (God Rest Her Soul) spent hours painstakingly stitching white stripes and the number 9 on a pair of blue shorts. In the days before replica kits. True Story.

Gonna go off and have a little sniffle to myself now...

Absolute peach, loved that strip as a kid.

Thats mine too. That was the 1st season I got a kit.
