AVB - who's behind him?
Oh dear Malouda was directly responsible for losing the ball for the last 2 goals. Clueless subs from AVB and I am fast losing all faith

AVB - who's behind him?
Well whether Roman comes out and says this or that is irrelevant I feel. AVB already knows how confident (or the opposite) roman is in his abilities. Romans biggest mistakes are decision making IMO, the only correct ones he got since Mourinho were the Ancelotti/Guus hirings, everything else has been a complete shambles on different levels. You mean Mourinho being the best manager? Well this opinion is widely shared I am sure!

Josh McEachran - We need to play him
Well I'm not him but my immediate reaction will be complete disappointment. There is nothing worse than loan players not playing, as that is the entire idea of loans from big clubs. The pva/kakuta loans are an absolute disgrace, we should agree with the club that loans on certain gametime requirements IMO, a clause would do wonders

AVB - who's behind him?
I hope you're right mate, but I see at least one expensive marquee signing either on the wing or in midfield. If AVB can replace the likes of Lampard & Robben with cheap but world class/near world class players, it would be great. I think we should seek players like Mata. Not too expensive but outstanding players.

We are going to get beaten postponed or not, so might as well go for it.

AVB - who's behind him?
Modric isn't here because spurs didn't want to sell Pereira and Moutinho are mediocre players & Porto doesn't want to sell to us unless it's expensive release clause. I think most (a large majority?) fans have the expectations that marquee signings are on the way come summer. Especially if we don't make the top four.
-
AVB - who's behind him?
Well, what AVB does with the squad in the premier league is irrelevant if Mourinho is involved IMO. 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th. If Mourinho IS available and willing to come back, then we should sack AVB asap and hire him. Nothing against AVB, I personally like him more than Mourinho, but he is just not as good. And will never be, regardless of how much potential he has, that's just the sad truth. As for huge finances, we are probably going to blow massive money this summer anyway on a rebuilding project. Most of the fans are expecting Cavani, Hazard, Lucas, Neymar, etc. And those players cost 40-50m each.

Josh McEachran - We need to play him
Honestly, nobody I know thinks Josh is good enough for the first team, and he will never be if he just keeps on being loaned out without getting a run in the first team. How did spurs, arsenal, Liverpool, united and even city keep putting mediocre youth and making them into regular/rotational players. Sturridge & Romeu are the only ones who "made" it in many years now. My main fear is Josh will become like Bertrand, good potential but just loaned out every year and now can't fill into left back even though Cole has been absolute gash (maybe due to fitness!) for a while now. Avb said he trusts Bertrand but in my mind I see -ivanovic-----luiz------Cahill-----bosingwa against United or Ferreira filling in. We need to take a chance with the few most talented youths in our squad. I am not saying we should replace the entire first 11 with our youth squad, because we would finish 10-15th. Given the form of our midfield this season, I can easily see where Josh could have had 10 starts and another 10 sub apperances.

AVB - who's behind him?
Man city - definitely Chelsea - possibly The others - no The rest of those clubs have massive reputations, massive stadiums, massive deals, huge amount of support. I know Chelsea has grown to an outstanding club as of recent years but I don't know if we on par with the true elite yet, at least in terms of revenue income we aren't. Precisely! His media controversy is irrelevant to me. The amount of absolute lies, false facts, invented stories, abuse of our players (especially ones that are senior English national team players) about CFC in the media has already reached critical levels.
-
Josh McEachran - We need to play him
AVB begs to differ People were complaining about Carlo not benching the senior players but in truth AVB is a far worse culprit. How Meireles, Malouda, Bosingwa and Cole have started for the past month I will have no idea. "Players of immense technical abilities" <--- when describing Malouda, Kalou, Bosingwa etc. This quote alone makes me want Roman to give the sack. Especially when there really are some gifted albeit inexperienced footballers hungry for gametime (Josh).

Terry - Allegation/Captaincy (merged)
Sorry, I have seen this mentioned often and must ask even if it's a bit OT. How could an opinion/tweet from an irrelevant man with no relation to the case prejudice the outcome? Unless "prejudice" means something else or the English legal system is complete bollocks.

Higuain?
This is a bad idea IMO. Our only good players in passing the ball are Lampard & Mata, Lampard has not contributed much other than his goalscoring and we have nobody who can cross well or beat a man. Cole & Mata being slight exeptions as they have provided a few decent crosses so far. There is a reason why Drogba and Torres have so few goals. What is their goal tally in the premier league? 2 goals from Torres and 3 from Drogba? People wanting Lukaku to start or Sturridge to move to CF will be disappointed IMO. They both wont score much and their hold up play/headers/passing is far worse than Drogba or Torres. The finishing is not the biggest problem I feel. Rather it's chances, and how good they are. I think we have been relegation tier creativity levels in the past month or so.

AVB - who's behind him?
You are so very wrong IMHO. Mourinho, AVB and any one else who is managing are the bosses, not Roman. The manager is the boss, the owner is just the owner. This is possibly what has been wrong with Chelsea FC in the Roman years. Your reference to Jose being a cheating woman is also way off here, especially considering AVB has just "cheated" his own hometown & loved club in Porto just around 6 months ago. And Mourinho being expensive by out standards! If we go by your analogy, we just spent 50m on a sex toy that doesn't even function properly and yet we can't afford Mou? Yes he also might want the Utd job, I have never read that from his own words & will treat it as any rumour, but even if it's true, is that not enough motive to try our hardest to persuade him here? The mere thought of Utd dominating for another 30 years with Jose is utterly sickening, surely every club has to suffer at some point every few decades, they have had nothing but success for what feels like ages now. If Ferguson retires and Jose doesnt join, there is a very good chance that they may end up like Liverpool or various other massive clubs who have suffered a drought. Add to that their debt. Hopefully he will never touch the red.
