OK fair point, and I don't know who posted about Lampsy , but it was out of order. I'll tell you something, I would've preferred Lamps to start tonight, he brought a bit of pace to our passing and attack. Yes he should have scored but nights like tonight happen sometimes. We made a hames of it in the first half, it reminded me of the Newcastle game.

Chelsea v West Ham (PL) 29/01/14 KO 19:45 GMT
A case of great defending, lucky defending, sh*t crossing, sh*t finishing and a sh*t attitude in the first half. How many times do we need to know that you can't play for half a game. I've seen us do it many times this season. I'm not slagging the lads as they've done brilliant this season but they know themselves they've not covered themselves in glory tonight. I can almost hear the media laughing as they're typing how we f**ked up letting Mata go.

Tony Gale always seems to commentate on our games and gives us nothing but grief, everything we do is a foul or dive, everything the opposition do is not, hence Tony Gale = bellend

Everything that Mata's
So he is gone and we are sad. Jose was wanted by myself and knowing his track record there was a high chance someone would fall by the wayside, but I still would have chose Mourinho. We know he has his style and is his own man. With Mata, yes I would have liked to have thought that he would stay and fight for his place, but how do we know that was an option for him ? Playing devils advocate, if there was no chance of him leaving when an approach was made it would have been laughed away by the club. It wasn't so the writing was on the wall for him from there. The fact he decided to go rather than sit and take his wages says a lot for the man. Even more so when I believe he was truly happy (other than his playing situation) at Chelsea as a club and London as a place to live. We let him go to Utd a decision that has been questioned by many of us, looking at things in the cool light of day, we have done an exceptional thing as a club. Despite Utd being in a vunerable position, we have given massive respect to Juan by letting him go there, and I believe we will have gained respect from outside the club for doing this, trifle comfort I Know. As I've said before good luck to Juan in his life, but he is a Utd player now so I stop myself short of wishing him well at his new club, unless he is playing City, Arsenal or Liverpool.

Best Assist for a Chelsea goal
Spurs away 6-1 I think an absolute cracking ball, the pass to Dan for his goal was immense also.

Essien - Stay or go?
Good luck Bison, a beast of a player at his peak. If he couldn't see the wee dribbling down opponents legs when he took the field, I'm sure he could smell it.

Making Sense Of Our January Transfers
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^, this.

Best Assist for a Chelsea goal
Damien Matthew to Kerry Dixon vs Arsenal '89 or '90 maybe ? Think he done Lineghan and kept his head to pass to King Kerry Zola to Poyet , cracking but my pick is...........Paul Hughes.

Making Sense Of Our January Transfers
Great post Forever Carefree, just a small addition. I'm choked to see Mata gone, but also it wouldn't have been any good to have kept him sitting on the bench. Jose has come in, and whilst he is the man most of us wanted, we don't have to agree with every decision, but I TRUST his decision making. There are some crazy stories going on out there regarding this transfer, from Mancs mainly about his wanting to keep OT happy so he can take over........yada yadda yaddda. Wishful thinking, remember 'we don't want Jose, Moyes is the man', as loyal as rats. I'm surprised Mata has chosen to go there TBH, but given the amount of money on offer I'm sure the club let him know their position and that probably didn't leave him with much choice. So let's wish him well in his private life and future, but as for his professional life..............well I think you know what I wish! Matic and Saleh should be great additions, perhaps Mikel might be under a bit of pressure as Jose's number one in that position, and Saleh has the one thing that frightens the life out of any one on the back foot, pace. KDB, think perhaps he loved the bright city lights and making gangsta signs a little too much for Jose's liking, so again good business getting rid of him and making a profit. Anyway the other great thing that came out of this was Arsey Whinger, 'I'm surprised they are selling him to a rival'. Choice memory Arsey

It's about the best thing that's come out of this mess really, Whinger , whinging. Brings a small grin to my face.

Worst 3 Chelsea Moments Ever
1) 1994 FA CUP FINAL, I was devastated, I don't think I've ever felt that kind of sadness, even Moscow. 2) RDM breaking his leg and it ending his career, Paul Elliott was close as well. 3) Ruud being sacked.
