The Mata/Lamps thing is a fair point, but lets see where we are this time next season to see if we are learning or not. This is a long term project in my eyes, which we all want to see work, let him and the team work. Its not always going to be rosy, we won't agree with all decisions but I truly believe Jose has 'our' best interests at heart.

Brother I'm certainly not saying the man hasn't flaws, but this game wasn't a knockout game or the end of the road for us, quite the opposite so we got away with a sh*t performance, in my eyes that's all it was. Have we been outstanding this season ? No , but I will tell you I' m far happier having Jose in charge than the waiter. I said it last season , I would take Jose and a mediocre season, while he was sorting out what he wanted and giving us back a bit of pride. Terrible game, terrible performance and I feel more sorry for our fans who went and spent good money on that sh*te, but I'm not going to lose me rag over it. Let's learn from it and come back stronger, there are tougher more important tests ahead.

Well said. I make no apologies to any of you who this applies to but if you don't like it go support spurs. We had a bad game and while I agree with the Mata issue to an extent Jose will get it right, keep the faith.

Got to say any work mates or people I talk footy with can't understand the Mata thing whatsoever. I don't want to see him go but if this trend continues and he is only a starter for Capitol One cup games, I fear he will be orf.

Never thought Basel would be a walkover for a start. They certainly over the last couple of seasons have shown no fear to any premier league side they have come up against and fair play to them. All round a little slow from us, although Willian in particular for me has been poor. I would get Andre on for him give them all a rollicking in Portugese and lets have it !!!
