Whilst the players must take a great deal of the responsibility, has Rafa made one single, effective substitution since he became interim? When things are going wrong you need inspiration, you need change, you need motivation, but where is it with this guy? Bring on JT if you have to bring on a defender, someone with passion, drive, leadership, go with 2 up top from 55/60 mins not from 80 mins (even tho Torres is perhaps not a whole one!) Try adding width, try 3 at the back, try something adventurous, try anything as losing 5-0 on aggregate makes no difference but don't do nothing. Just a few examples: West Ham - unable to tighten the game up QPR - Ran out of ideas, changed little Southampton - At 2-1 did nothing, left saints with the momentum Swansea at home - Ran out of ideas, stupid late sub of anonymous Torres Swansea away - Couldn't see what we all knew, we could have played for 900 mins without scoring in that shape Arsenal - we got away with it in the 2nd half, unable to stop their domination, no tactical changes Sure we have had some excellent results under this guy but with the talent available I would say its impossible not to get some good performances, a manager earns his dough when things are not clicking.......not this guy- TACTICAL GENIUS- No way. Ok I am sure all I have to say has been said a million times but I need to rant! No problem with starting line up, no issue on the whole with 1st half, 2nd half WTF!!!! No passion, no ideas, no invention, no pace, no desire any other adjectives.........so what happens when this is the case, a team needs a manager to inspire, to throw caution to the wind, to try something, if it fails so what.......... So our friend Rafa waits until 30 mins left and swaps a defender for............a defender (and not even the one that wears their heart on their sleeve). Then he waits until 10 mins to go to try 2 up top..................an unfamiliar formation that with best will in the world will take at least 10 mins to bed in...............then, with 5 mins left, another like for like at left back.... What is this idiot doing at our club. I do want to like him but how can I when he constantly does F all when things are going wrong? Quiz for today - can someone please tell me one good substitution Rafa has made for us (other than when 3/4 nil up!) so dislike this 'manager' Finally, Hazard was very silly, ball boy clearly been watching too much of Luiz, Drogba, Bale etc.......but it was still wrong - end of, it didnt cost us the match as we were sh*t before and sh*t aftwerwards.
