Are we talking about signing Quaresma or Hulk here? Have I ever said Quaresma is good - no. He is a different player, coming at a different stage of his career - Quaresma was already in decline for 2-3 seasons with Inter where he proven he is not good at all, then failed at Chelsea and is now failing at Besiktas. Again different player, different situation, different type of transfer (sorry but that loan was not a serious piece of business).

On loan - 4 games. I believe 3 of them as a sub. If this is what you call playing for us... and btw he came from Inter, where they didn't want him anymore as he was useless(I still don't understand why he came at all, just like Pizzaro at City this season).

I am angry at the nonsense I see. Quaresma has not played in England so this is irrelevant. Hulk being under contract is not what gives Porto leverage, it is the fact that he is a talented, proven and very desirable player right now. If no one wanted him, he could have had a contract untill 2020 and it still wouldn't make him worth 35m. In other words, you are saying scouts at Chelsea are terrible and don't know what they are doing if they can convince Roman to spend 35m on him. That makes me angry. Downplay him all you want, if we sign him you will see yourself that you are totally wrong. And, yes, being a top player at Porto usually means you are good enough to play in the top teams of Europe - there's plenty of examples, even in our own favorite team. And he has been head and shoulders above anyone in Portugal for a few years now along with Falcao, it's not like he is just yet another player of Porto.

If they have leverage then he is easily worth 35m...You just contradicted yourself. And if you think a top player in Porto is not a proven track record then I don't know what is. 5 season top level in Porto is much more than 1/2 a season at Newcastle - couldn;t care less whether Caroll is English or not, that doesn't make him a superior human being.

Falcao as a sub at ANY team? :) I wanna see that happening. His price tag is something like 40m pounds right now (Atletico bought him for 40m Euro). Not that we haven't seen it before with Torres, but I think Falcao is better than Torres ATM from what I've seen from him at Porto and the few games I've seen of him at Altetico. Ozztheboss - I am also thinking that Ramires is better than Marin on the wing, even on the left, which is not his natural position!

I think it is Man U as Chelsea don't even have a manager, let alone someone to tell him whether he is in his plans or not and where he is going to play... sh*tty have too many players in this position and he admitted he is basing the decision on how much playing time he can get. I wouldn't mind him with us, but I think there are alternatives if he chooses someone else - Lavezzi, I am looking at you.

Pep has not revolutionized anything except Barcelona. They are still the only team playing without a stiker. I don't want Chelsea to pass ednlessly and not have a big man up front. Sorry, but that is in our blood. He may go to Arsenal if they finally wake up and realize Wenger is an idiot and he should fit well there, but not at Chelsea. Thanks.

Are there any teams left playing with two up front? Man U sometimes, Man City only in crisis situations, Juventus sometimes. Can't think of anyone playing normally with two up front except Loserpool, but we can see how good that is going.... I can't see it happening after last year's heroics when Drogs was playing alongside Torres in a couple of games in the beginning of the season.

I know we are not managers of Chelsea, nor RA himself but would be good to see a summary of what everyone's main wishes for next season are. Here's mine: Coach - RDM Cech (Turnbull) Luiz (Branco) Terry Cahill (Hutchinson) Cole (Bertrand) Mikel (Romeu - potentially a CB back-up too, Meireles) Ramires (Lampard) Hulk (not very expensive right winger sub with Sturridge money - someone like M Jarvis) Mata (De Bruyne) Hazard (Marin) Torres (Lukaku) Josh - on loan at Norwich/WBA/West Ham type of club Kakuta - on loan in Championship Piazon - on loan in Norwich/WBA/West Ham type of club Courtois - on loan at Atletiko Malouda - sold/released Essien - sold if bid is good enough - this guy needs to play and at Chelsea there isn't much space for him, shame as I used to love him pre-injury Sturridge - sold (too selfish and cocky) Hulk - strong and powerful, a beast on RW Hazard - excellent supplier and finisher (can switch with Mata) Ramires - to boss the midfield/rotate with Lampard De Bruyne - to be given a chance Marin - Back up winger Lukaku - to be given a chance in lesser games Luiz - to be adapted as RB so that he can go forward, just like Branko only younger! Just give the job to RDM along with some quality players for the wings as we all know Managers don't buy players at Chelsea. Should work fine as with quality players RDM won't have to resort to parking the bus against big teams. What can Pep do that RDM can't at Chelsea specifically? If anyone can enlighten me, it would be good. The only thing I like about Pep is that he actually gives a chance to young players and with the amount of talent we have at Chelsea, I am sure we will see some develop in world beaters, but I don't see a reason why can't RDM do the same.

First of all, Hi, new member here :) I've seen plenty of games of Hulk in the past 3-4 years and I am mighty impressed by his speed, power, technique, explosiveness and strenght. The only place I have seen this combination before is in Didier Drogba, Cristiano and to some extend Ibrahimovic, but he is more technical and less speedy. Hulk is easily worth 35m pounds if Fernando is worth 50 and Caroll 35...He has proven himself in the good Portuguese league but also in Champions League and Europa League, which are top quality competitions - it's not like he is new to the world like say Lucas, who is another rumour. The good thing about Hulk in comparison with Drogba is that he should be able to work alongside Fernando, which is going to be essential next season as we don't have Drogs to pull us out. He was amazing alongside Falcao and I can see him working in the same way with Fernando (exchanging position sometimes, passing, making runs oof each other, etc) - I can easily see him getting 15-15 g/a net season, which should be enough to justify a 35m pricetag. I don't think we need many more players besides him to be honest. We have a lot of depth in central midfield, especially with potentially Ramires moving in there, too so should be a really good season if we get him and he and Torres switch-on with some supply from Mata and Ramires and Mikel from deaper. I can see the team as follows Cech (Courtois) Luiz (Branco) Terry Cahill (Hutchinson, maybe 1 more experienced sub for a small fee) Cole (Bertrand) Mikel (Romeu, Meireles if he stays) Ramires (Lampard, Josh if he doesn't go on loan) Hulk (Sturridge) Mata (De Bruyne if he doesn't go on loan) Marin (ideally De Bruyne as I rate him higher but...Malouda if he stays) Torres (Lukaku) Obviously I can see some of the subs moving on/going on loan and I don't like Marin for the starting 11 but I am not sure if RA is ready to pay for both Hulk and Hazard who are costly - ideally I'd put Hazard left with De Bruyne as his sub and Marin to sub for Mata as he is far more effective as No 10 than on the wing from what I know about him. Honestly, I feel optimistic as long as the Manager shambles is resolved ASAP - please be it RDM!
