Not sure if that would be news to you but they would want 40m euro for Lavezzi too. At least that's what their boss says. They want even more for Cavani and Hamsik. Nothing comes cheap these days. And especially when you want world class players like Hulk. I wouldn't mind either. Both are class and will do fine with us and I support Napoli, too, so undestandbly Lavezzi is one of my favorite players.

He said in these reports that he has spoken to the club and presumably the manager first. That did not help under AVB and he did not get any playing time under RDM. And we don't have a manager for next season...so who should he speak to?

Why is he clearly not ready? What is that based on? 10 minutes playing time once every 5 games? How is he supposed to perform in that much time with games for the reserves team? Football doesn't work that way. We will see if he is ready or not next season if he gets more playing time. Right now, any judgement on him is just a guess as no one has seen anything from him.

The current favorite for most bookies is RDM with some lead over Pep, who has some lead before Capello and Harry. I hope it is not any of the last two. And I am still undecided on Pep. Chelsea is not Barcelona. Hope the thing is resolved by mid-June but we will see.

For a millionth time. In order to announce a transfer you need all the signatures. From what I understand Hazard is going to sign before/after the England game and Hulk will sign when Porto and Chelsea agree on the final price if they haven't (he is in the US, too, for their friendlies). Both need to pass medicals, too. Hulk will need a Work Permit, too, unless he has a Portuguese passport, too (not sure). You can't just announce random stuff. Both seem to be over 90% done but need finalizing.

BetVictor seems to disagree with you - they have Harry at 2.5. Pep at 2.875. RDM at 3.25 and Fabio as 4.5. Pep's style is not for the Premier League. Capello is too old fashioned, with old-fashioned tactics and old-fashioned players choice. Harry is good but I'd prefer a Chelsea legend rather than Tottenham's manager. Blanc - don't have a clue.

wow. I love Press Pass. They are a great laugh except that Loserpool prick Steve Nicol who knows only Loverpool and slacks everyone else off, while he defends the most rubbish team in the world. Lebouef is a nice balance in Chelsea's favor. Hislop is well rounded and relatively objective. Tommy Smith is there for the show and hates on just about everyone constantly. Great fun for the evening and I love the Gomez hate there - Hislop is 100% right, this guy is lucky and he usually scores in Pippo style - by the ball hitting him instead of him hitting the ball.

I've always said that but we do have Ramires and Lampard likely competing for his position. 1/2 a season or maybe a full season on loan won't be bad for him as long as the club is from the Prem. Love KdB, I have an affection for Lampard type of players and KdB fits the bill ideally, just needs a full season in Prem to accustom to the playing style here and he is ready for Chelsea starting 11.

Hope he gets more playing time. He was quite good late in the season when given a chance. With Ashley getting older every season, I can see Ryan getting more and more chances until he becomes our starting LB (Ashley is 32 and half - 2 season top football at most for a full back)

Roman gets burned, not me and you. And he doesn't seem to be worried so why should you and I be even before we've see him play in Chelsea shirt. I am much more worried about a striker worth 50m that can't score goals for a season and a half and demands he is first choice - nothing against Fernando, but this guy needs to step up this season without Good Old Drog.

If there is someone I'd like to see from Newcastle in our shirt that would be either Papiss or Cabaye but we have no place for either - 3 strikers if we include Sturridge and 6 midfielders for 2 positions. All world class with exceptional talents as back-up. Demba Ba is not necessary when both Lukaku and Sturridge are screaming for playing time as a ST.

Wow, some people hating on a relatively anon performance against USA in a friendly. Did you not see Fernando's performances at the WC and in Prem before came to us? And his fee was 50m. Hulk was not exceptional in one game you watched and that makes him not worth a certain amount. I am sure our scouts that have been to every other Porto game this season know better than you...Yes, we've made mistakes in the past but who doesn't? Instead of being optimistic about a world class winger everyone is bitching about transfer fees - why do you care about financials anyway? This is Roman's business and I am sure the club knows much better than you whether that can hurt us in FFP terms. I say forget about what we have paid for him/Hazard and enjoy their football. And it would be good if can forget the even higher fee paid for Fernando who so far cannot be further away from it in the repayments department. Two possible formations: dm kagawa rooney st in this case he would be a "modric" for them. Dm cm kagawa rooney in this case Rooney plays up front (seen numerous times) and Kagawa does what he was doing till now at Dortmund - play behind the striker. I can see both options being used depending on the quality of the position. Add two wingers to that that they already have (young nani valencia), put whoever in dm/cm positions from people like carrick and scholes and I presume Wellback as a ST in one of the formations unless they buy someone else. Good attacking line up but I think I like yours a bit better if we get Mr Hulk!

Yes I reckon he should go, too. Would prefer to see Lukaku up front as Torres replacement. We have 3 players who all want to play in one position. It won't work and from Lukaku and Daniel, I'd mu ch rather see the Belgian stay. Sturridge can go to a team like Tottenham/villa and play there every week. And why do we need modric? Is he better than any of ramires/lampard/mata who will cover 2 places in the first 11?
