  1. I'm still behind Torres. Always have been. I hope we keep him.
  2. Hmm. This is a tough one. It all depends on how our next run of fixtures go. But personally i reckon we'll be 3rd or 4th.
  3. I keep expecting Torres to all of a sudden become brilliant again. I haven't given up hope.
  4. I say start Sturridge against West Brom and see how he goes. Also i would start Moses.
  5. To be fair he did come close in the second half just before he collided with Steven Gerrard.
  6. Chicarito annoys me. He tried to credit himself with a hat trick yesterday and it wasn't, the second one was a Villa own goal.
  7. I think he'll score today. Twice. But maybe not a hat trick. I think we'll win 3-2, Mata will get the other goal, Suarez with Liverpool's two.
  8. At least he's managed to avoid injury in his near 2 years at Chelsea. He couldn't go two months at Liverpool without pulling his hamstring.
  9. Have just watched the highlights on my Chelsea app and yeah, my bad, went off Torres's boot.
  10. It just looked weird. The ball zinged out and Torres did this little jump thing but the ball didn't look like it went near his foot. I'm going to have to look at it again, i had had a glass of wine.
  11. It was a bizarre goal. Didn't even look like Torres got a touch to it.
  12. Torres's goal tonight was just weird. It didn't even look like he touched the ball.
  13. I don't believe there is a Chelsea fan anywhere willing him to fail. He is our main striker, his purpose is to score goals, many of them, and important ones, to get this club to trophies. Why on earth would we will him to fail? There's no point in us all arguing amongst each other about whether Torres is rubbish or he isn't, the fact is we've got him and we all need to make sure we stay behind him for as long as he wears the shirt.
  14. At the end of the day it doesn't matter what we think, does it? Roman will decide who goes and who comes in.
  15. He works hard for the team. Whether he scores or not he at least looks like he's trying most of the time. And Sturridge gets into good positions.
  16. Torres will score today. I think both he and Sturridge have their uses, and differing qualities. We are fortunate to have them.
  17. To be fair, Torres was a decent, but just decent, 15 goals a season striker at Atletico. When he moved to Liverpool they catered to his every whim tactical wise and built a solid team around him, which is why he got the service so regularly and scored something like 34 goals in his first season. That's more than he's scored for Chelsea the whole time he's been here. I think Liverpool made him the prolific striker he was, and then he started developing an ego. But he isn't to blame for that. It happens to a lot of top players. He's come to Chelsea and it's been made obvious that he is a good player, but that is all he is.
  18. United will always be title contenders for as long as Fergie is there. Doesn't matter how bad they are, he knows how to win.
  19. I'd have taken a win on Sunday and a loss tomorrow if i had to choose but now we were robbed on Sunday i reckon we take our revenge on the cheating scum. Danny with a hat trick please.
  20. Ferguson wound me up saying Torres 'chose to go down' and 'it was his own fault.' he got clipped by Evans FFS, it was clear as day. And even witt ten men we looked better than United. Ridiculous decisions today.
  21. Baffled as to why Torres got that second yellow. What for?! Oh and Little P**** was offside when he scored.
  22. It's a difficult one to call for RDM. This is a pivotal match for us, one it's really important to win. In regards to our title aspirations anyway. RDM will have to decide whether to choose the player who averages a goal every other game, links up well with the three behind him and sets up great chances for them, or whether to choose a younger, fresher striker who isn't afraid to just shoot, scores a few goals but who can also be really selfish on the ball.
  23. I still say we don't have much to worry about. Torres looks fine, he's creating goals and he's scoring them. Every striker has bad games, his bad games are getting a lot less frequent.
