I don't know why the youngsters don't get more of a chance. The kid played during pre-season and did well, so why wouldn't he be able to go into the first team? He couldn't do no worse than the starting 11 on Saturday.

I think after the Newcastle game, I am expecting them to come out and look fantastic against Schalke, especially at home. Looking brilliant and only winning 1-0 would be dissapointing, as it would surely mean that we had more than 1 chance during the game. Looking fantastic and winning by 3 goals or more while not conceding, is what I would expect to see.

If Chelsea don't win at least 3-0 wednesday, it will be a failure after the newcastle game.

In hindsight, these results are bound to happen in any league. Was watching R.Madrid and they almost drew against a bottom of the league team in Rayo Vallecano. It is just frustrating when you see other teams in the league making easy work of their opposition.

Funny how everyone else can perform in november. Man city 7-0, arsenal beating liverpool 2-0, man utd win etc.

Newcastle have a lot of strong mandingos in their team, which is why we struggle against them.

It wasn't just individuals though, it was most of the players who were shocking, so yeah it's unfair to target a one or two. Oscar looked miles off today, which was surprising. You can see that there are many players who are trying, e.g. Rami, Mata, Torres, Willian, Schurrle, Ivanovic, Terry. Cole just doesn't seem bothered at the moment, not sure why, but he's been frustrating the last few games now, meanwhile Bertrand has done nothing wrong and never starts. Lamps is another one who seems miles away at times. Bloody hell, even Mikel has shown more enthusiasm than Lamps has the last few games.

It is the fact that Hazard himself said he wants to be one of the best players in the world, scoring all these goals a season, being more selfish etc, but he doesn't do it. He gets gunshy and hesitates a lot. I'm just saying, if you look at the very, very best, e.g. Ronaldo, Messi, Ribery, they rarely hesitate while on the ball and going forward. Mourinho said himself that Hazard can be up there with those players, but Eden seems to be setting himself targets that he can't reach unless he starts showing more confidence when attacking the opposition.

Hazard will never be the second coming of Ronaldo, he just doesn't have that confidence to take on players successfully. You know when Ronaldo gets the ball and starts running, he is only looking towards the goal, nowhere else. Hazard seems to hesitate a lot when attacking defenders. Not sure why we didn't play with the wide guys (willian and andre) earlier in the game, before Newcastle's first goal. As soon as those two came on, we were able to go forward a lot more. And why in the hell does Jose continue to play Lamps? He just isn't cutting it at the moment. The last game he was slow to the ball too, then today his passing was dreadful. I would much rather see Essien in for Lampard instead. Cole is another one who's been dreadful of late too. Next game I hope we see Bertrand in.

I think we need to use more of Azpi at RB. Ivanovic continually goes forward, but provides nothing. He is best when he stays back, but I'd prefer Azpi to start a few games to see how he does. Azpi isn't too shabby at defending either.
