According to this, the attendance for the game last night was only 37,857. You'd think we'd be able to sell out fora game of this magnitude. Anyone know what the deal with that was?

i read somewhere about every game has to have 10% of its attendance unsold. not sure why though, segregation maybe? it would pretty much cover the missing few thousand

The match was sold out. Unfortunately some seats in the Mathew Harding stand can't be sold for safety reasons. There is so much TV equipment parked outside that there could be problems if they needed to evacuate. It's ridiculous but that's why.

The crowd were magnificent last night by the way. Best atmosphere at the Bridge for a long time (I missed the 2nd leg of the quarter final).

Totally agree ES. We were in Shed End Upper and we pretty much sang throughout. Can't recall the last time the atmosphere was as good as that - hope it came across on TV.

We had quite a few Barca actually dotted about where we were but they were very quiet and often clapped a lot of the Chelsea moves - even Essien's goal!!

Loved the "Adios, adios, adios", when their player was sent off.

The back eight rows of the MH upper and also the first couple of rows all around the ground have to be empty according to EUFA regulations. Ignore everything you hear on Talksport from Spurs fans stating we couldn't sell out for a CL Semi (what would they know about CL football anyway) it's the rules.
