So, its international time again and I can't wait to see Irelands big match in Sofia-St.Ledger will shine :P

But will be keeping a close eye on England aswell as Capello has got ye playing well and surely a win against Kazakhstan will put ye thru to South Africa, it will be interesting to see who Capello will play

Probable team?:

Green

Johnno Lescott JT A.Cole

Stevie Me Lamps Barry A.Young

Rooney Heskey

Wales also playing tomorrow, and they have to beat Azerbaijan to stand a chance of qualifying for South Africa though that looks unlikely anyways

;)

The pitch for the ENgland game looks like it is going to be a shocker so there is a bit of a risk of players picking up injuries.

Like you I expect green to get his first England cap however I expect Upson to play alongside Terry rather than Lescott. I would also be surprised if Walcott doesn't start.

My expected team is

.......................................Green

Johnson.....................Terry..............Upson..........A Cole

..........................................Barry.....................

...................Lampard.................................Gerrard........

Walcott............................................Rooney..................

............................................Crouch......................

Although it is possible we will play Heskey instead of Crouch.

Well done mate, predicted it right

Glad to see 3 and possibly 4(Johnno) Chelsea players in the team and only one Scouser, one Manc and one Gooner!

Good luck but hope Kazakhstan surprise you:D Come on Borat!:L:L

England team has been announced

Green, Johnson, Terry, Upson, A Cole, Walcott, Barry, Lampard, Gerrard, Rooney, Heskey.

Did you have an old Scottish crone for a granny who gave you the second sight?

England dismal in the first 15 minutes. Lots of hoofing of the ball, even more misplaced passes and the front two of Rooney and Heskey are standing around like planks of wood up front making no effort to run into space.

Khazakstan just scored from a free kick but had it ruled off-side

They are looking spritely and the better side so far

Its shocking. Johnson is playing so outrageously its almost like he is trying to be bad. Barry is playing like the pitch is a sponge.

We will win this though, now way Borat can keep it at this level for 90 mins. Their portly centre forward is amusing.

England shouldve been one down within 15 seconds :)

Johnson found wanting, a perfect example of how he can be a liability

And he has carried on having a mare since that point (although to be fair he isn't the only one but he is probably the worst so far)

Well, Johnno lost it again but then won it back before muscling his way through

I still think that if he joined us he would be alot better than before

EDIT:3-0, Rooney scored, lovely play from Johnno

EDIT:4-0, Lamps pen. Well done Lamps, Becks came on for Johnno who has an ankle injury it seems

If we were to sign him, hope he won't fail a medical lol

Good game...we were shaky at the start and watching Glen Johnson makes me feel happy we have Bosingwa.

Our Chelsea boys played well...Terry looked quite good, not great though. Ashley's performance just goes to show what a quality player he is for club and country and hopefully people will realise this and stop attacking him all the time. Lampard - he scored the penalty, wasn't in much doubt, he did okay in general. Nobody really stood out today, but a win's a win!

It was a good day for me though: bet £10 on the half time score being 2-0 and £5 on the full time score being 4-0 and 5-0. Thought I lost £20 until Heskey scored, but I've walked away from this game with a £67.50 profit!!

Cheers England!!!!

Was Stevie G on the pitch when Lampard took the PK? Hope he was, means Lampard is the go-to PK taker for England, which I feel like he should be.

Speaking of PKs, only a year until the inevitable PK defeat to Portugal in SA! (I know Portugal aren't in a good qualifying spot, but still....they'll somehow end up there, disguised as another team, to beat England at penalties)
