I recorded MOTD and won't watch it till tomorrow (or later today, having just noticed the time). I'm not looking forward to it at all, but these things have to be done. And if I ever find myself in the company of Gary Lineker I'll kick him straight in the bollocks.

Our game was always going to get extra coverage because let's face it, this was a big story and wopuld have been exactly the same had Wigan beaten the Mancs, scousers or gooners. They made a little bit of history yesterday at our expense.

After the penalty - on 55mins - the next incident shown was Cole's injury, which was close to the end.

That was my impression (albeit on a very dodgy straem that froze every couple of seconds. It even froze on the penalty and made it look as though the Hilarion had saved it!). Once we went down to 10 men we created nothing - barely strung any passes together - so there was literally nothing worth showing for the last third of the match.

Which tells its own story.

im really hoping torres is slightly of his form on sunday and that drogba is really up for this one and i cant see no way of the scousers beating us on this one
