March 28Mar 28 Entwistle was the only one of The Who with any musical training. Studied piano at school, moved on to brass. His French Horn (if you'll pardon the expression, given his demise, shagging a girl in a Las Vegas hotel while loaded up with cocaine) was a welcome addition to so many tracks. Outstanding bass player, talented songwriter. This, I think, was his first Who effort.
