ws6blue Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 apart from lightning pace..........he has got the lot first touch good as anyone to get it under quick layoffs anywhere always spot on can burst forward when opportunity arises belting tackler strong in the air brave great reader and positional sense quite prepared to mix it great leader can hit it long right or left 10 years time we'll all have him up there with the legends a one-off........................ :)
Ruh Buh Juh Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 He's also one of the best passers of the ball, in any direction in the league - yet no one realises. His pass to Ashley for his goal vs. Sunderland is the perfect example - first time, into the gap behind the defenders, right onto Ashley's instep. Absolutely sublime, pass of the season.

BlueBeard Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 And why was he using two feet at the piss-up? Maybe he's just a very big boy? Best ask Val I suppose
Chelsea FC Champions Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 I think his good passing was because he was a midfielder before.
bonetti Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 He should be Minister of Defence - not President
