The tough run in

Featured Replies

Man City at home, Spuds away, Dippers away, Manu away. Not sure who else but there is plenty of room to slip up.

Watching mod looks like Arsenal have the easy run in.

Anyhow I am hoping Essien and Bossy can make it back soon but frankly not counting on it. So unfortunately it is still possible for the whole season to fall over.

Here's hoping the boys can see it through.

They'll all be very very tough, no doubt, but the one I'm least looking forward to is Dippers right at the end of the season. They'll be all guns blazing to try and get 4th spot, and I hate hate hate losing to those scum bags.

yes its a challenging run in but all we have to do is win 11 games and we'll be there!

if you want a view on what might actually happen in those games then the really challenging ones in my view are Villa at home and Mancs away - both of which we can win on our day. We still have a very strong squad and world class players to come back in - Alex, Boss, Essie, deco, juliano and carlo is shrewd and is doing some subtle player-resting already

leftback is a risk but Paulo absolutely can do a decent job

cech back in form, drogs really buzzing - nico will come good again etc etc

every match we win from now puts pressure on Arse & mancs starting with mancblue on saturday

my prediction is 7 wins and 4 draws and the PL title

Was just about to post and say for people please not to start predicting our points to the end of the season.

Remember what happened when we did that after Christmas with our 9 easy games in a row,

If Physio room is to be believed, everyone bar Alex is due back shortly. I'm sure Essien and Bossy will be eased into things gently. At least I hope so. I wont' be in the least surprised if Essien fails to make a full recovery. Hope like heck my fears are unfounded.

really? so soon? doesn't seem like he's been out long

...not that i'd complain if he was fit and ready by the beginning of march!!

Physio room is not to be believed, generally. It's good for seeing who is out immediately, but those dates are quite arbitrary. They've pushed all of those multiple times already.

They did say 4 - 6 weeks when he was originally injured, so it does average out at about 5 weeks.

Yes we have some tough matches to come. However, looking at some of the points we dropped this season - losing to Wigan, draw with West Ham, Hull, Birmingham, there are the type of matches we should have won easily, maybe complacency?? We have beaten just about every team in the top half the table, apart from City, Everton and Villa. Maybe we do play better against the so called 'tough teams'

This is the kind of season where all the 'big' teams drop points, the team makes the least mistakes ( be a flat track bully) will win the title. In theory, Arsenal can still win the title, and that's quite scary despite they have lost 4 matches against the 2 best teams in the league :D
