wage cap lifted

The MLS are lifting their players wage cap to try and attract 'Star players' and hang on to some of their talent. I seem to remember them trying this before in North America. Hope they have better luck this time.

actually mate, posted that a while back, there were numerous sniggers about posh trying an acting career while becks played footy!!!

Have you also seen the ads out here where they have beckham say "america is such a huge market for sports"

and

"maybe I would love to end my career as a footba;;er out in america"

Yes I do remember that now. In that FoxSports promo he does say "I would never rule out playing in America".

The Beckham to MLS runours have been circulating the UK around for a good few weeks now.

If Beckham really harbours any hope of playing for ENgland again he will swallow his pride and return to the Premiership to play for a team like Spurs (or some other mid table team)
