Posted May 21, 201015 yr http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...refereeing.html The referee who took charge of Chelsea's acrimonious Champions League semi-final exit to Barcelona in 2009 has quit international refereeing. Norwegian official Tom Henning Ovrebo made his decision after not being picked for this year's World Cup in South Africa. Another reason for celebration within 2 weeks :) :D
May 21, 201015 yr Look forward to the day he bumps into a Chelsea fan, i for one will never forget his face.
May 21, 201015 yr the sad thing is that he was allowed to make the decision to "quit". It should of been forced on him ages ago!
May 21, 201015 yr Typical Mail article ....having not been picked for whatever reason for South Africa, we get named cos of death threats received after his poor performance in a match 12 mths ago. Why not just say he wasnt picked as he's not considered upto the job of being a world cup referee?
May 27, 201015 yr I guess he decided the money is enough from the game between us and team unicef. His fee paid by fifa and barca is enough to cover him for the rest of his life. f**ker! I hope we never see as dickless ref as this one was. I'm going hiking this summer north of Finland very close to the border we share with Norway. Instead of crossing the border I will probably do something childish and pee on their side. Not because I hate Norway, far from it, but every time I think of Norway it reminds me of Ovrebo.
